[Prior Art] A composite cable in which an optical fiber core wire is built into an electric wire is extended with an optical connector provided on the optical fiber core wire led out from the end of the electric wire, and then installed on a steel tower. In such composite cables, the wires are stretched due to the tension during wire stretching, resulting in insufficient length of the optical fiber core wire and tension being applied to the optical fiber core wire. Extra length of the optical fiber core wire was provided outside to accommodate the extension of the electric wire.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, if the extra length of the optical fiber core is provided outside the end of the wire, the optical fiber core will be removed from the end of the wire each time the wire is extended during wire extension work. Since the wire is drawn into the inside, there is a problem in that the optical fiber core wire is easily damaged at the edge portion of the wire end.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The means of the present invention for achieving the above object will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 (A) to (D) corresponding to the embodiments. This invention is electric! i! 2, in which an optical connector 4 is attached to an end of the optical fiber core 3 led out from the end of the electric wire 2; The optical fiber core 3 led out from the end of the electric wire 2 is fixed to the end of the electric wire 2 by a fixing means 5, and in this state, the composite cable 1 is extended, and after stretching, the end of the electric wire 2 is fixed. The present invention is characterized in that the tension of the optical fiber core 3 within the electric wire 2 is released by cutting off the section to a required length.

1 to 3 show a first embodiment of the present invention. In the case of this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, a composite cable 1 has an optical fiber core covered with fiber reinforced plastic inserted through a protective tube (not shown) or the like at the center of an electric wire 2 made of twisted metal wires. It has a structure with wire 3 built-in. An optical fiber coated wire 3 is led out from the end of the electric wire 2 with the minimum necessary length, and an optical connector 4 is attached to the tip of the optical fiber coated wire 3. At the end of the electric wire 2, a lead-out portion of the optical fiber core 3 is fixed to the end of the electric wire 2 with a fixing means 5 such as an adhesive. A cylindrical wire extension clamp 6 is fitted around the end of the electric wire 2, the exposed portion of the optical fiber core 3, and the optical connector 4, and is fixed to the electric wire 2 with a crimp portion 6A or the like. Note that 6B is a pulling eye portion provided at the tip of the wire extension clamp 6.

Therefore, after the wire has been extended, the portion of the wire 2 in front of the terminal portion 7 is clamped to the tower using a restraining means (not shown), the wire extension clamp 6 is removed, and the wire 2 is held in place as shown in FIG.
When the wire is stretched, it is peeled off by the length of the wire. In this way, the optical fiber core wire 3 becomes free, so that it is drawn into the electric wire 2 until the tension that was acting on it becomes zero, and is released from the tension. The stripped and unnecessary portion of the electric wire 2 is cut off to form the state shown in FIG. 3. In this state, although not shown, the next section of the composite cable and the electric wire 2 are connected with a single jumper, and the optical fiber cores 3 are connected with each other by an optical connector 4.

[Embodiment 2] Figures 4 to 6 (A) to (D) show a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 4, in the case of this embodiment, the composite cable 1 is constructed by connecting a fiber to the center of an electric wire 2 made of twisted metal wires together through a protective tube (not shown) or the like, as in the first embodiment. It has a structure in which a reinforced plastic-coated optical fiber core 3 is built-in. An optical fiber coated wire 3 is led out from the end of the electric wire 2 with the minimum necessary length, and an optical connector 4 is attached to the tip of the optical fiber coated wire 3. A connector housing 8 for accommodating the optical connector 4 and the exposed portion of the optical fiber core 3 is fixed to the end of the electric wire 2 by adhesive, pressure bonding, or the like. The optical fiber core 3 in the connector housing 8 is fixed to the connector housing 8 and the electric wire 2 with fixing means 5 such as adhesive. In this embodiment, the electric wire 2 and the connector housing 8 are fixed with adhesive. The optical connector 4 is positioned and housed at the tip of the connector housing 8. On the end face of the optical connector 4 and the end face of the connector housing 8, pins 9 and 10 are provided for alignment with the mating optical connector and the connector housing.
is installed protrudingly. Further, on the outer periphery of the tip of the connector housing 8, a nut 11 for coupling with a mating connector is provided so as to be rotatable and prevented from being pulled out.

Therefore, after the wire has been extended, a portion of the wire 2 slightly in front of the terminal portion 7 is clamped to the tower using a retaining means (not shown), and the wire 3 is connected to the sixth wire at a location near the connector housing 8.
The cut wire 2 is separated as shown in Figure 6 (C), and the cut wire 2 is peeled off as shown in Figure 6 (C).In this way, the optical fiber core 3 becomes free. Therefore, the electric wire 2 is drawn into the wire 2 until the tension that was acting on it becomes zero. The stripped and unnecessary portion of the electric wire 2 is cut off, and the state shown in FIG. 6(D) is created. In this state, Although not shown, the cut electric wires 2 are connected to each other using a connecting means such as a crimp fitting, the next section of the composite cable and the electric wires 2 are connected with a jumper wire, and the optical fiber core 3 is connected to the optical connector 4 and the connector housing. 8 to connect each other.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, in the method for laying a composite cable according to the present invention, the optical fiber core wire is fixed to the end of the electric wire with the fixing means, and therefore the electric wire is not stretched during the wiring. It is also possible to prevent the optical fiber core from being drawn into the electric wire. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide an extra length of the coated optical fiber outside the end of the wire, and it is also possible to prevent the coated optical fiber from being damaged at the end of the wire during stretching.

In particular, in the present invention, since the required length of the wire is cut off at the end of the wire after the wire is stretched, the tension in the optical fiber core inside the wire that occurs during the wire stretching is released, which reduces the deterioration of the transmission characteristics of the optical fiber core. Cutting accidents can be prevented.
