PURPOSE:To produce a horizontal compressor comprising a highly durable and low noise oil feeder by providing a feed oil pipe coupling between the delivery port of an oil pump and the oil feed chamber at the compressor section while driving the oil pump through a flexible shaft. CONSTITUTION:Upon driving of a motor section 14, compressor section 1A coupled through a shaft 2A is operated to rotate a flexible shaft 8 together with the shaft 2A thus to rotate an impeller 6. Through pumping function of the impeller 6, lubrication oil 5 entered through a suction port 7a into the pump casing 7 is pushed out through a delivery port 7b and fed through an oil feed pipe 9 to the oil feed port in the oil feed chamber 16.
