At this time, in order to stabilize the gap 6 formed between the electrode plates 1 and 2 and the sealing member B, a first spacer is inserted inside the sealing member B and the sealing member 6 between the first spacer member 4 and the sealing member B. A second spacer member 5 having the same average diameter as the first spacer member 4 was disposed, but in reality, the first spacer member 4 disposed inside the cooling member B was the electrode plate 1.
and 2, the distance between the gaps 60 cannot be controlled by the spacer member 5, and this causes various drawbacks when used as a display device. One of them is that when the electrode plate 1 or 2 is pressurized, the alignment mode of the liquid crystal in that area is disturbed, making the display difficult to see. In addition, when displaying on a large panel, the gap 6 varies locally, resulting in the disadvantage that the response speed of the liquid crystal may vary locally.
