装置のライトペンに電磁結合型の入力装置で使う磁性体
または導体を組込むことによつて、入力ペンと共用でき
るようにしてペン取扱い操作上極めて容易で便宜的なし
かも信頼性の高い新規なライトペンを提供することにあ
る。

れる如く電磁結合タブレツト型入力装置21の入力ペン
として使用した場合には、ライトペン23の先端に取付
けられている磁性体又は導体が電磁結合を生じさせる磁
性物質又は渦電流を発生する物質の役割をはたしている
。この場合に、電磁結合タブレツト型入力装置21から
はライトペン23が検出できるような光は発生していな
いので、電磁結合タブレツト型入力装置21の入力動作
のみが行われる。ライトペン23を図の破線にて示され
る如くデイスプレイ装置22のライトペンとして使用し
た場合には、前記したようにライトペン23の先端に取
付けられている磁性体または導体は光を遮ぎらないので
、ライトペン本来の機能は何らそこなわれることがない
。本発明に係るライトペンは、以上説明したように、デ
イスプレイ装置のライトペンに電磁結合用の磁性体又は
渦電流発生用導体が組合せ装着されているので、電磁結
合タブレツト型の入力装置の入力ペンと共用することが
できる。従つて本発明によれば、ライトペンと入力ペン
を持ち替えることなくペン操作が可能となるから、操作
が極めて簡単になると共に操作の円滑性、信頼性の向上
を期待することができる。以上本発明はその良好な一実
施例について説明されたが、それは単なる例示的なもの
であつて制限的意味を有するものでないことは勿論であ
る。
