本発明は主としてディーゼルエyジyの始動のために用

て室内に渦流を生ぜしめ、これに燃料噴射ノズル3よル
噴射さね、グループラグによル予熱された燃料によって
混合気を完全燃焼させようとするものであるから、渦流
室l内にグp−ゾラグの発熱体4が突出していると始動
後はこれが障害物となってスムーズな渦流形成を阻害す
ることとなりエンジン出力の低下、燃費の悪化、有害な
排気ガスの増大等エンジン性能に悪影響を及はすという
問題点があった。この問題点を軽減するための先行技術
としてWX2図(第1図と同一部分抹同一符号で示す)
に示す如く、グロープラグ発熱体4を渦流室1内の中央
部分へ突出させず渦流室内壁の一部を座ぐルその座ぐり
部1aにグロープラグ発熱体4の一部又は全部を位置さ
せる構造とし、渦流形成に対する障害を軽減しようとす
るものがあるが、これとても渦流室内面に凹凸部が存在

焼性の極めて優れた予熱装置を提供しようとするもので

るをlか、燃焼室内には従来例の如きグロープラグの存
在による突出物や凹凸部等の障害物がないことによって
室内の渦流形成が極めてスムーズに行なわれ、始動後に
おいて着火ミスによるエンジンの出力低下や燃費の悪化
、さらには有害な排気ガスの増加等を生ずることのない
