    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 排気微粒子を捕集するトラップ材とこのトラップ材によ
    り捕集された排気微粒子を着火燃焼せしめる電気ヒータ
    とを有するパティキュレートトラップをディーゼルエン
    ジンの排気ガス径路中に設けたディーゼルエンジンの排
    気微粒子浄化装置において、上記パティキュレートトラ
    ップを迂回する主排気径路より小径のバイパス管を設け
    ると共に上記パティキュレートトラップの上流または下
    流の主排気径路中に該主排気径路を開閉制御する０Ｎ−
    ＯＦＦ制御弁を設けたことを特徴とするディーゼルエン
    ジンの排気微粒子浄化装置。
