Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to reduce remarkably the attaching work of containers and improve reliability by a method wherein the containers are attached detachably to a tube plate by a holder plate having holes corresponding to the holes of the tube plate. CONSTITUTION:Tubes 3 in the heat exchanger 1 are attached to the tube plate 2 by means of expanding or the like. The heat exchanger is provided with water chambers 4 at both ends thereof, and fluid flows into the water chamber 4, passes through the tubes 3 and flows out of the water chamber at the reverse side of the heat exchanger. The containers 5 are attached to both ends of the tubes by the holder plate 7 while tube cleaning members 6 are contained in the containers 5. When the direction of flow is reversed to the left by switching a valve connected to the outlet and inlet ports of the water chambers of the heat exchanger, the cleaning members 6 leave the containers 5, clean the inner walls of the tubes 3 as they are flowing and are contained into the containers attached to the opposite (left) side water chamber in the same manner.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] In particular, in cases where storage containers are installed at both ends of the tube and cleaning materials such as brushes or sponges are moved inside the tube, a valve provided at the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger is used to control the direction of internal fluid flow. The present invention relates to removing dust from a heat exchanger tube i'ifJ, in which the inner wall of the tube is cleaned by reciprocating the cleaning material while switching in the forward and reverse directions at appropriate times.

Conventionally, cleaning material storage containers are installed in the water chambers at both ends of the heat exchanger to accommodate the reciprocation of cleaning materials, but these storage containers are attached to both ends of each individual tube to prevent them from coming off the tubes. Methods of adhering, or cutting 6"1"I on the inner surface of the tube and fixing it by expanding the tube, or making the end of the container a separate elastic structure so that only the end can be removed are used. .

With the method of fixing the storage container, it is difficult to replace the cleaning material if it is damaged, and with the method of making the end part removable, it is possible to maintain the cleaning material. The container body must be attached using methods such as gluing or tube expansion, which is particularly time-consuming when there are a large number of tubes, and attachment methods such as gluing and tube expansion are unreliable. -, cracking due to excessive tube expansion, and disconnection due to insufficient tube expansion.
