Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording/reproducing head with which the head attachment position can be easily controlled by setting the 1st head gap formed at a junction part between a center core and a C type core of one side at the center of the head width an controlling the positioning to a head base through said junction part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording/reproducing head 3 is provided with a pair of C type cores 4 and 5 and a center core 6 set between both cores 4 and 5.
