Furthermore, when roof tiles are installed on a roof with a gentle slope, the slope of the upper surface of the tiles becomes even gentler, and rainwater may rise from the overlapping portions due to capillary development and leak.

Furthermore, it is almost impossible to adjust the overlapping margin between tiles, and even if it is possible, it is extremely small and has the disadvantage that gaps are created in the overlapped portions, making it easy for rain to leak.

That is, as shown in Fig. 1, the upper surface of the roof tile 2 constructed on the roofing board 1' has a gentler slope, and rainwater permeates into the overlapping part and reaches the rear end 3' of the roof tile 2' below. As a result, the roofing board 1' and fixtures 4' get wet, resulting in rain leakage.

Furthermore, when fixing these roof tiles to a roof, the roof tiles below the overlapped portion are simply nailed, so they are vulnerable to wind and may be blown away.

This invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional methods. It is easy to install, does not leak even when installed on a roof with a gentle slope, has a solid feel despite being lightweight, and is aesthetically pleasing. The present invention is excellent in that it is possible to adjust the overlapping margin between roof tiles, and provides roof tiles that are resistant to wind blowing.

In addition, even if rainwater may enter the overlapping part of roof tiles A or B during heavy rain or when accompanied by wind, there will be a gap between the face plates 1 and 1 of the upper roof tile and the lower roof tile. Because of this, rainwater does not rise due to capillary action and is returned to the rim 4 of the roof tile A or B further below.

For roof tiles, it is preferable to use a mixed material of asbestos and cement because it is relatively lightweight, inexpensive, has excellent weather resistance, noncombustibility, and high strength.

(1) In the event of heavy rain or rain accompanied by wind, the front part of the face plate and side wall part is made wider than the rear part to prevent rainwater from entering the overlapping part of the roof tiles. Since gaps are formed between the roof tile and the face plate of the lower roof tile and the side wall, rainwater does not rise due to capillary action, and is further returned by the rim of the roof tile, causing it to spread over the roof tiles and roof tiles. It is possible to prevent the fixing devices that fix the roof board to the roof board from corroding.

(2) When constructing the roof tiles of the present invention, adjust the stacking allowance of the roof tiles in the vertical direction of the roof to improve the fit at the edges of the roof, improve the aesthetic appearance, and improve the appearance of the roof tiles. It also eliminates the need for cutting and adjusting or using extra accessories.

In this case, there may be a slight gap between the folding line of the upper roof tile and the face plate and side wall of the lower roof tile.
Even if rainwater may enter the overlapping part of the upper and lower roof tiles through this gap, the gap is formed between the face plates of the upper and lower roof tiles as described above, so the rainwater will be absorbed by capillary action. The water does not rise due to the rain, and the water is returned by the edges of the roof tiles, so there is no problem in dispersing the rain.

(3) A bent edge is formed inward from the front end of the face plate and the side wall, and the end of the bent edge is shaped to follow the outer surface of the rear part of the face plate and the side wall, so that the lower The folded edges can be seen as the thickness of the roof tile when viewed from above, giving it an extremely solid appearance, but it can also be made into a lightweight roof tile, which reduces the strength required for columns and beams. (4) Furthermore, in the roof tile of the present invention, since a gap is formed between the face plate and the face plate or roofing plate of the roof tile below, the heat insulation properties of the roof and the sound insulation properties against rain noise can be improved.

(5) A protrusion extending in the front-rear direction is protruded near the rear end of the outer surface of the side wall, and a notch that can fit into the protrusion is formed on the bent edge, so that the front end of the roof tile The bent edge of the roof tile is held in place by the protrusion of the lower roof tile, and even if the roof tile is long and wide, it is strong against the wind and will not be blown away.

(6) In the case of a roof tile in which a constant middle part is provided with approximately equal width from the middle part between the front and rear parts of the face plate and the side wall part to the rear end, the fixed middle part of the lower roof tile Even when adjusting vertically when roof tiles are stacked one on top of the other, the overlapping margin is maintained to maintain a constant gap between the folded edge of the upper roof tile and the face plate and side wall of the lower roof tile. However, the length of the middle part can be adjusted within a certain range.

(7) If a step is formed between the front and rear parts of the face plate and side wall, the front parts of the face plate and side wall are bulged out between the face plate of the upper roof tile and the lower roof tile, and between the side wall parts. It is possible to further increase the distance between the two, thereby further improving the effect of obtaining a feeling of weight (3) above and the sound insulation property (4) above.
