Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the supplying capacity of hot-water reserved in the hot- water reserving tank by a method wherein air venting of a main tank, constituting the hot-water reserving tank, can be effected simply. CONSTITUTION:In the hot-water reserving tank for the solar heat utilizing water heater or the like equipped with a main tank 1 and a cistern tank 2, the main tank 1 and the cistern tank 2 are partitioned by a partitioning plate 3 and an air reservoir 4 of fin type is provided on the upper part of the main tank 1 while the air reservoir 4 is communicated with the cistern tank 2 through a venting path 5. According to this method, mixing of hot-water and water may be eliminated and a necessity of providing the venting pipe separately may be eliminated. As a result, the manufacturing cost may be reduced and a high hot- water supplying capacity for the hot-water reserved in the hot-water reserving tank may be provided.
