Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, a solar water heater has been used in which a heat collector 1 and a hot water storage tank 2 are integrally connected. However, since the installation requires a large roof area, the heat collector and hot water storage tank are separated.
It has been proposed to install a hot water storage tank on another roof surface that sandwiches the ridge from the roof surface where the heat collector is installed, or to install a hot water storage tank on the outer wall of the second floor. However, locating the hot water tank in such a different location requires changing the structure of the hot water tank to allow water circulation. Therefore, there is a problem that production efficiency is reduced due to high-mix low-volume production.

An example of a hot water storage tank using an embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 2 to 7. In the figure, 3 is a main body container of the hot water storage tank 19, which is formed into a flat box shape by blow molding. The main body container 3 has a hollow protrusion 4 at the center of its upper end surface, and a cold water inlet 5 is provided on the side thereof. Moreover, the upper end surface 3a
Two first heat collector connection inlets 6 and two heat collector connection outlets 7 are used with the protrusion 4 in between. The heat collector connection inlet 6 and the heat collector connection outlet 7 are formed of a cylindrical portion formed integrally with the main body container 3 to protrude outward, and the tip thereof is slightly inclined toward the back side. On the lower end surface of the main body container 3, two second heat collector connection outlets 8 are provided in the center, second heat collector connection inlets 9 are provided on both sides, and near the side edges. A rotary hot water supply port 10 and an overflow hot water supply port 11 are provided. These second heat collector connection inlet 9 and outlet 8, as well as the rotary hot water supply port 10 and the overflow hot water supply port 11, consist of a cylindrical portion integrally formed with the main body container 3 so as to protrude outward. leaning to the side. The inclination angle substantially coincides with the direction of the diagonal line in the vertical cross-sectional shape. Overflow hot water supply port 1
1 and the two second heat collector connection inlets 9 are connected to pipes 12 and 13 within the main container 3, and the pipes 12 and 13 extend diagonally and reach approximately the vicinity of the corner. . A pipe 14 is also connected to the first heat collector connection outlet 7 inside the main container 3, and this pipe 14 extends diagonally, with its tip reaching near the corner. Furthermore, a pipe 15 connected to the cold water inlet 5 is provided diagonally within the main container 3. This pipe 15 is formed to have a larger diameter than each of the other pipes 12-14.

Since it is formed in this way, two installation methods can be adopted: the case shown in FIG. 4 and the case shown in FIG. 5. FIG. 4 shows one roof surface 17 sandwiching the ridge 16.
This is an example in which the heat collector 18 is installed on the roof surface 17a, and the hot water tank 19 is installed on the other roof surface 17b. Figure 5 shows
This is an example in which a heat collector 21 is arranged on the roof surface 20 of the first floor, and this hot water storage tank 19 is installed on the outer wall 22 of the second floor.

How to use FIG. 4 will be explained. As shown in Fig. 6, connect the two first collector connection inlets 6 to the collector 1.
The two first heat collector connection outlets 7 are connected to the cold water inlet 25 of the heat collector 18 by a circulation pipe 26. Second heat collector connection inlet 9 and second heat collector connection outlet 8
is occluded with a plug. In FIG. 6, the mark X means that the mouth is closed.

To explain the operation of FIG. 6, first, the hot water tank 19 and the heat collector 18 are filled with water from the cold water inlet 5. The hot water heated to a high temperature by the heat collector 18 enters the first heat collector connection inlet 6 of the hot water tank 19 from the circulation pipe 24 and flows into the upper part of the main body container 3. Then, the cold water at the bottom of the main body container 3 flows out from the first heat collector connection outlet 7 through the pipe 14 and flows into the heat collector 18 from the circulation pipe 26. When hot water is used little by little during normal times, hot water is supplied from the overflow hot water supply port 11. When all hot water is drained, hot water is supplied from the rotary hot water supply port 10.

In this way, by simply changing the openings connected to the heat collectors 18 and 21 and closing unnecessary openings, the hot water storage tank 19 can be moved to the roof surface 17b as shown in FIG. 4 while allowing natural circulation of hot water. When installing on external wall surface 2
It can be used for both installations. In addition, since the main container 3 has a flat shape, even when installed on the roof surface 17b as shown in FIG.
Even when installed on the outer wall surface 22 as shown in Fig. 5,
It has the advantage of being easy to install and being less susceptible to wind pressure loads.

FIGS. 8 and 9 show modified examples of a hot water storage tank using this main body container 3. FIG. In this example, pipe 31
When using the installation method shown in Figure 4, the pipe 31 can be replaced as shown in Figure 8.
When connecting to the first heat collector connection outlet 7 and using the installation method shown in Figure 5, connect the pipe 3 as shown in Figure 9.
1 to the second heat collector connection inlet 9. By replacing the pipes in this way, idle pipes such as the pipe 13 in FIG. 6 and the pipe 14 in FIG. 7 can be eliminated, and the number of pipes used can be reduced.
