Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate bonding of a single slip sheet to a printing unit by guiding both side edges of a single slip sheet to a pressure contact roller mechanism while restricting the position, and providing a pair of axially slidable single slip sheet guide mechanisms at a platen. CONSTITUTION:A strip sheet 4 is inserted along a sheet guide plate 3 along a platen 1, then wound on the platen 1, and then the perforation holes of the sheet 4 are engaged with a shifting mechanism 7. Then, pressure contact rollers 5, 6 are contacted under pressure with the platen 1 through the sheet 4. In this manner, a printing head 2 is horizontally moved to print on the sheet 4, but moved synchronously with the platen 1 and the mechanism 7 whenever the printing of one line is finished, the sheet 4 is moved to the position opposed to the head 2 in the next line to be printed. 行分の印字が終了する毎にプラテン1及び移送機構7が
同期して作動され、用紙4が移送されて次の印字行がヘ
ッド2に対向した位置に送られる。この動作が繰返され
て印字が進められる。次に印字用紙を用いた場合は、第
2図、第3図に示すように、2つのガイド部材8を互い
に摺動させてその間隔が使用する単票用紙9の幅に一致
するように調整した後、該単票用紙9を、特にその両側
縁部分がガイド部材8によりガイドされるように移送機
構7とガイド部材8間に挿入し、プラテン1に上記用紙
9を巻付けた後、圧接ローラ5゜6を上記用紙9を介し
てプラテン1に圧接させる。

いるので、帯状用紙と同様な高品質の印字を行なうこと
ができ、しかも上記単票用紙のガイド機構は帯状用紙移
送機F14にガイド部材を組付けるだけの至って簡単な
構成であるので、安価に実現することができる。
