Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は電子写真法等による定着されたトナーからなる
画像の消去法に関するものである。複写ｌｌ！ｊ　１ｍ
にはホチキスやバインダー用の穴の影や切貼りした紙の
境界線などの不用な画１象が複写きれることがしばしば
ある。これ等の不紛な画像の消去は消ゴムで強引に消す
か、白色の・罎正故により画像を被うのが従来の方法で
あった。また、ｌＬ！！！像を形成するトナーはトルエ
ンやアセトンなどのトナーの溶解力の大きな溶媒を付け
て１祭ると画１ボが薄くなることは知られていた。しか
し、そのようにして画像を除去した部分は地汚れがひど
く天川４には適さなかった。
本発明はこの地汚れの問題を解決して、実用的な消去法
全提供するものである。本発明音がこの地汚れの問題を
検討した結果、地汚れＵ溶媒で溶解したトナーが用紙の
微細な穴に侵入することが１つの原因であることを突止
め、これは畝細な穴を埋める目どめ処理を用紙に施すこ
とで＋ｍ決できることが判った。又、たとえ用紙に微細
な穴がある場合でも、トナーを完全に溶解せず、トナー
を膨潤又は弱く溶畦する溶媒を画像に接触させて画像を
品るとトナーはアカの様な状態で除去され、用紙に地汚
れを生じさせないことが判った。前者の用紙の微細な穴
を埋める目とめ処理は目どめ材の塗工による方法と紙の
抄紙時のサイズプレス過程で目どめ材をサイズ材として
使用する方法がある。目どめ材としては、ポリビニルア
ルコール、デン粉、カゼイン、ポリビニルピロリドン、
カルボキシメチルセルロース、ゼラチン、アラビアゴム
、ポリアクリル酸塩、などの水にＯＴ溶性で有機溶媒に
不溶性な結着剤と必豊に応じて炭酸力ルシュウム、タル
ク、酸化チタン、酸化唾拍、クレー等の微粉末部相ｋｉ
怒加したものがある。一方、トナーを完全には溶解せず
、膨潤さオる溶媒又はトナーの溶解力が弱い溶媒として
は、メタノール、エタノール、プロパツール、ヘキサン
、オクタン等や、これ等にトナーの溶解力が強いトルエ
ン、酢酸エチル、アセトン、トリクロルエチレン等の溶
媒を適当量添加したものなどがある。
実施例１　上質紙上に５係ポリビニルアルコール水溶液
を塗工した用紙（濃度０．１）を複写機（ゼロックス７
６００）の用紙として使用し、記録濃度０．９の画像を
得た。これをトルエンを含む紙で５回１祭ったところ画
像は完全に消失し、銖＃看地汚れを生じることはなく、
簡単かつ仔、遮に画１象を消去できた。
比叡例１．　実施例１．の用紙の代りに上質紙を用いて
トルエン′ｆｆ：＠む紙で５回擦った。この結果、画像
の濃度は０．３３に減少したが残存するとともに画像の
周辺が０．２８の濃度に地汚れを生じた。この地汚れは
裏面にまで達しておりこれを消去するエンの重量比が０
　、２０　、４０　、６０　、１００係の５種ｖｇ４の
溶媒を各々含む紙で５回づつ擦った。このときの画像の
濃度を第１図に示す。この図で特徴的なことはエタノー
ル中にトルエンを２０％含む溶媒の場合であり他のいず
れよりも画像の濃度が低く、はぼ完全にトナーが除去さ
れていた。この様な特徴的な曲線になるのはエタノール
１００　％溶液ではトナーが溶解力が弱いため画１象が
ほとんど残り、またトルエン１００　％では画像はほぼ
消失するが、地汚れが大きく濃度が０，３３以下になら
ない。
ところが、エタノール中のトルエンが２０ｑｂの溶媒で
はトナーがアカ状に集団で除去される。このためトナー
を多量に溶解した溶媒が紙に付着することが避けられ、
地汚れを生じなかったためである。
実施１！／ＩＪ　３　　実施例１．と同様に作製した商
１家をエタノール中のトルエンが重量比で２０係の溶媒
を富む紙で３回係ったところ、画像は完全に消失し、地
汚れも生じなかった。これは他の実施例の場合奇 に比べ雇った回数が少なく、かつｌ麗に画像が消去され
た。
以上説明したように本発明の画像の消去法を用いると地
汚れが無く、かつ簡易にトナーからなる画像が消去でき
る特徴がある。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １　浴剤に溶解しない部材を用いて目どめ愛した用紙上
    に形成されたトナーからなる定着された画像の一部又は
    全部に溶媒を接触させ、前記溶媒が濡れている間に前記
    画像を擦り取ることを特徴とする画像の消去法 ２、トナーを膨潤させる溶媒又はトナーの溶解力が弱い
    溶媒を用いることを特徴とする第１項記載の画像の消去
    法
