Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a fancy loop yarn having unique appearance, easily, by covering a short fiber bundle under specific condition with a covering yarn unwound from a bobbin attached to a rotary hollow spindle and a core yarn. CONSTITUTION:The short fiber bundle 2 is overfed to the rotary hollow spindle 3 at a speed of <=2.2 times the takeup speed from the front rollers 1, 17 of the fine spinning frame to the takeup rollers 9, 9'. The short fiber bundle 2 is wound spirally around the core yarn 5 by the gyrating tension of the covering yarn 8, and then the core yarn is traversed by the traverse guide 10 while being covered with the covering yarn 8. The wound state of the short fiber bundle varies along the direction of length.

Conventionally, a short fiber bundle is supplied from the front roller of a spinning machine to a rotating hollow spindle, and the covered yarn is covered with the short fiber bundle by a pick-up roller. A method of forming a composite yarn by taking it off is known, but with this method, only a yarn with a poor design effect, in which a covering yarn is simply wrapped around a bundle of short fibers, is obtained.

That is, the present invention supplies short fiber bundles from the front roller of a spinning machine to a rotating hollow spindle, and covers the short fiber bundles with the covering yarn that is released (by a bobbin attached to the rotating hollow spindle) and then supplies the short fiber bundles to a pick-up roller. When forming a composite yarn by taking it up with Supplying the core yarn to the rotating hollow spindle
P'j, +j"l 8ffJ bundle is wound around the core yarn by the turning traction force of the covering yarn, and the loose yarn is wrapped between the rotating hollow spindle and the take-up roller while being covered by the covering yarn. This is a method for manufacturing fungy loose yarn in which the special feature is to change the winding state of the core yarn and the short ifL bundle by traversing.

In this case, the yarns used for the covering yarn (8) and the core yarn (5) are filament yarn, spun yarn, etc., especially the product 11f!
In addition, the tension supplied to the core yarn varies depending on the processing count of the resulting yarn, but it is desirable that the tension is 201 or higher, and 19
When the core yarn tension is less than 1, the hollow spindle (3
) and the front roller (1) of the spinning machine As a result, the loop shape formation is disturbed and snarls are generated, resulting in poor process passability.

In this case, the supply angle (θ) of the core yarn (5) is preferably within 10' to 90 degrees with respect to the center line of the hollow spindle, and if it is less than 10 degrees, it may wind around the core yarn (5). The shape becomes smaller, causing snarling in the short fiber bundle, and if the angle exceeds 90°, the winding of the short fiber bundle becomes patchy, and the winding becomes insufficient, causing slack in the short fiber bundle. This causes the shape of the processed yarn to be disturbed.

In addition, the traverse speed and traverse width in this case vary depending on the degree of change in the shape of the yarn to be obtained, and these can be selected arbitrarily, and can also be used as a traverse method. It is also possible to select any method depending on the machine situation, such as using an air cylinder or using a noheto cam.

FIG. 2 is a side view showing an example of the fungy loop yarn obtained by the present invention, and in the same figure, the non-loop portion [
A] is when the traverse guide (10) moves from the center to the outside, it pulls out the core yarn (5) faster than the speed of the pick-up rollers (9) (9') and overfeeds the fiber bundle ( 2), and the loop part [Bl is the part formed by covering with the traverse guide (1).
When the short fiber bundle (2) moves from the outside to the center, the short fiber bundle (2) wraps around the core yarn υ, forms a coiled loop shape, and is then covered.
