Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 交流電源に接続される整流回路及び平滑回路と、この平
    滑回路の出力側に接続された、半導体スイッチング素子
    の複数が互に並列に接続されて成る−　チョッパ回路と
    、このチョッパ回路の出力側に接続されたインバータと
    、このインバータの出力側と点灯すべき放電灯との間に
    接続された、放電灯の点灯起動時において前記インバー
    タよりの交流出力の各半サイクル毎に少なくとも１個以
    上の高圧パルスを発生する起動器と、前記チョッパ回路
    の半導体スイッチング素子をオンさせる駆動パルスを供
    給するパルストランスを含み、放電灯の点灯起動時には
    前記チョッパ回路の出力パルスのデユーティサイクルを
    ほぼ１００％とする駆動パルスを発生し、点灯後は放電
    灯に流れる電流値若しくは電力値に基いて前記チョッパ
    回路の出力パルスのデユーティサイクルを制御する駆動
    パルスを発生するチョッパ制御回路とを具えて成ること
    を特徴とする放電灯点灯装置。
