Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an ink release type multicolor pressure sensitive copy material capable of selecting printing color tone by the change of printing pressure, obtained by a method wherein a film substrate and an ink layer based on resin, non-compatible oil and a coloring material are included and the ink layer is formed by laminating inks having plural color tones. CONSTITUTION:An ink release layer 3(a first ink release layer) containing a low pressure printing ink component resin (e.g., a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer), non-compatible oil (e.g., spindle oil) and a coloring material and an ink release layer 4(a second ink release layer) containing a high pressure printing ink component are provided on a film substrate pref. in each thickness of 10- 20mum as an ink layer 2 and for example, an intermediate layer (e.g., acrylic resin) 5 is further provided between the first ink release layer 3 and the second ink release layer 4 to form an objective copy material. Resin and a solvent may be changed in each layer without providing the intermediate layer and the size of the pole provided to the ink layer may be changed to vary a sponge structure.

In general, ink-releasing pressure-sensitive copying materials are made of linear polyester, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinyl acetate, polyurethane, acrylic resin, etc. An adhesive layer having a thickness of several micrometers is provided, and an ink containing a resin, an oil incompatible with the resin, and a coloring substance as main components is provided on the adhesive layer. This ink m has a trousers:)t II structure, and contains ink made of oil and coloring substances in the holes of a resin sponge. When pressure is applied from the back, the ink will pop out and be transferred, usually about 3 to 6 times. It is called a multi-strike ink ribbon because the print density does not decrease much even if it is struck at the same location. However, the conventional ink-release type pressure-sensitive copying material has the inconvenience of not being able to freely select the print color tone because it only has a monochrome function.

FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram showing the basic structure of the multicolor pressure-sensitive copying material of the present invention, which has the same structure as a conventional monochrome copying material in that an ink layer 2 is provided on a film base 1. Ink layer 2
is the ink release layer 3 containing ink components for low pressure printing (W, 1
This ink release layer) and the ink release layer 4 containing an ink component for high-pressure printing (second ink release layer) are laminated, and this point is characteristic. As shown in FIG. 3, during low pressure printing (A), only the ink in the upper first ink release layer is released, while during high pressure printing (during high pressure printing), the ink in the upper first ink release layer is released. Since they are emitted at the same time, the print color tone can be changed as desired.

In the pressure-sensitive copying material of the present invention, spindle oil, liquid rough-in oil, mineral oil such as Mobil 1, animal oil such as lard or lanolin, or vegetable oil such as castor oil or peanut oil may be used. I can do it. In addition, low-pressure and high-pressure colorants can be arbitrarily selected, and black colors include carbon black, iron oxide, and nigrosine base, evening colors include alkali blue, ginonine blue, and still red colors. As for permanent red,
Lake Red and other yellow-based colors such as Toshiteha Hanri' Yellow and Nomie Manent Yellow are added to green-based colors °C
Phthalocyanine green, brilliant green, etc. can be used. Known dispersants may be used to adsorb the pigments to the oil. In the present invention, the low pressure and high pressure ink release components are prepared separately.

First, the above-mentioned oil, colorant, dispersant, dispersion medium, etc. are put into a ball mill and dispersed for about 24 hours to make ink. This ink is taken out from the ball mill and a resin is mixed into it to prepare an ink liquid. Note that the resin may be mixed into the ball mill from the beginning. As the resin used for the ink, a resin that is easily formed into a resin that has poor compatibility with oil is required. Generally, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, polycarbonate, etc., which contain a large amount of vinyl chloride, are used.

The biggest problem in forming the ink layer into a laminated structure as in the present invention is that when the first ink layer is formed and then the second ink layer is formed, the first ink layer is The two layers mix due to swelling or dissolution, and as a result, the printed color tone becomes unclear. In order to eliminate such problems, the following measures have been taken in the present invention.

2. The types of resins used in the first ink release layer 3 and the second ink release layer 4 are changed to make it difficult for the solvent used to coat the first ink release layer 3 to dissolve the second ink release layer 4. That is, pay attention to the selection of resins and solvents used. for example,
If a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer is used as the resin for the first ink release layer, and polycarbonate is used as the resin for the second ink release layer, the solvent for the second ink release layer may be used as the solvent for the first ink release layer. Methyl ethyl ketone, which does not dissolve the polycarbonate resin, is used.

5. Changing the sponge structure of the first ink release layer 3 and the second ink release layer 4, that is, changing the size of the holes in the ink layer. For example, the size of the holes in the second ink release layer 4 may be reduced (
By making the resin rich by adding about 1 to 2 μm), it is possible to prevent ink from entering the second ink release layer 4. As a method of changing the hole size, for example, if the compatibility between oil and resin is deteriorated, or if a low viscosity oil is used and the ratio of oil to resin is increased, the hole size will become larger, and vice versa. By improving the compatibility between oil and resin, using high viscosity oil, and reducing the ratio of oil to resin, the hole size can be reduced.

As for the order of application, first the high-pressure printing ink liquid is applied, then the low-pressure printing ink liquid is applied, and the respective ink layers can be laminated. The thickness of each layer is 5 to 25 microns, preferably 10 to 20 microns. At this time, in order to prevent the first ink release layer and the second ink release layer from being mixed, an intermediate layer may be provided therebetween as described above. This intermediate layer may be made of acrylic resin, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, butyral resin, or the like. Adhesion speed 0.5 to 3 f
/ m2 is preferably 1 to 2 /'m2. Further, if necessary, an acrylic resin or vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer may be provided as an adhesive between the first ink emitting layer and the polyester base. The present invention will be explained with reference to Example T1. However, it is not limited to this. In the examples, all parts are indicated by weighted parts.
