[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a ship equipped with a floating oil detection device. Specifically, it inspects a wide range of sea surfaces at night, especially in the dark, and detects oil floating on the sea surface or mixed oil quickly and efficiently. It concerns a ship equipped with equipment for better detection.

Another known method is to irradiate the sea surface with ultraviolet rays to cause floating oil to emit light, and detect the floating oil by receiving the emitted light (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 49-34393).

However, in order to prevent the influence of ambient light, this method requires that the light emitting and light receiving devices be housed in a shielding box, etc., and as a result, the sea surface area that can be inspected at one time is extremely limited, making it inefficient. It is something.

As a result, while adopting the well-known knowledge of detecting floating oil by projecting ultraviolet rays onto the sea surface, causing the oil to emit light, and receiving the light, the ship is equipped with a device that has these light-emitting and light-receiving functions. By doing this, we discovered that it is possible to inspect a wide range of sea surfaces at night, especially in the dark, and quickly and efficiently discover oil floating on or mixed in with the sea surface, and have completed the present invention.

Fig. 1 is an explanatory diagram schematically showing the floating oil detection device used in the present invention, and Figs. 2 and 3 are explanatory diagrams showing the state in which the above detection device is installed on a ship. A mercury lamp 1 equipped with a filter 2 that transmits the mercury lamp, a brightness measuring device 3 that measures the brightness of fluorescence emitted from oil by the ultraviolet rays projected from the mercury lamp, a photomultiplier tube, a phototube, a photocell, etc. that converts the brightness into an electric current. To provide a ship equipped with a floating oil detection device on the sea surface consisting of a photoelectric converter 5, an amplifier 6 for amplifying the current, and a recording alarm 7 for recording the amplified current and issuing an alarm when the amplified current is recorded above a set value. It is something.
