  1. 燃焼室に通じる２つの吸気ポートを備えた直接噴射式デ
    ィーゼルエンジンにおいて、一方の吸気ポートのスワー
    ル比を他方の吸気ポートのものよりも高く設定すると共
    に、上記一方の吸気ポートの開弁時期を他方のものより
    も遅らせたことを特徴とする直接噴射式ディーゼルエン
    ジンの吸気装置。
