Abstract

PURPOSE:To suck completely a toner cloud, and to prevent its scattering in the direction of a photosensitive drum by placing a partition in a suitable place in a suction port of a suction part of the lower part of a developing machine, and directing its direction in one circumference direction of a magnetic roll of the upper part. CONSTITUTION:A suction part 12 connected to an air filter is provided on the lower part of a developing machine 6, and a suction port 13 is pierced and placed toward one circumference of the lower surface of a magnetic roll 10 provided in the vicinity of the circumference of a photosensitive drum 5. As for the suction port 13, plural partitions 14 are placed in suitable places so that a suction force becomes uniform extending over the whole surface in the suction port 13. A toner which is electrostatically and frictionally charged by a blender 7 and mixed with a carrier moves to a paddle wheel 8, a mixing plate 9 and the roll 10, and develops the drum 5. A toner cloud generated at the time of said carrying is sucked successively by the suction port 13.

示すように構成されていたためエアの吸引力が不均一で
あシ、そのため該吸引口より吸引されるトナークラウド
は吸引力の強い部分に集中する傾向があυ、そのためト
ナークラウドの発生量の多い場合、当該トナークラウド
は吸引力の強い吸引口40両端部分に集中し、これがコ
ピー上の両端部のバックグランドをひどく汚すといった

ラウドは上記現像機6内でトナーがブレンダ〜7、パド
ルホイール8、マグロール10等によって攪拌搬送され
て行く段階で発生する。そして、該トナークラウドは前
記現像機6の下部に設けたサクション部12の吸引口1
3によって遂次吸引されて行くのであるが、当該吸引口
13は、その向きが上述のようにマグロール10の下面
の一周辺に向けて穿設配置されているため、トナークラ
ウドはマグロール10の周辺からこの吸引口13を介し
てサクション部12内へとすべて吸引されエアフィルタ
ーへと負圧で吸引されて行くことに々る。このトナーク
ラウドを吸引口13からサクション部12内へ吸引する
際に吸引口13内の適所には仕切シ14・・・が配置さ
れていて・エアの吸引力は当該吸引口13において、全
面に亘って均一になるように構成されているため、トナ
ークラウドは当該吸引口13で、その両端部分に集中す
ることなく全面均一の状態で吸引されて行く。

ので、前記トナークラウドはこの吸り10130両端部
分に集中して吸引されることはなく、従って従来この集
中吸引によって発生していたコピー上の両端部のバック
グランドをひどく汚す等もほぼ完全に防止でき、常時良
質のコピーを提供できるといった効果も有する。
