Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the separation and feed of a cloth, by providing a member for pushing the surface of the cloth by the bottom of the member and a claw for grabbing the signal cloth on an appropriate surface part in cooperation with the pushing member and by horizontally moving the claw to grab the cloth between the pushing member and the claw. CONSTITUTION:To separate and feed one of stacked cloths 3, a cloth pusher 9 is moved down by elongating an air cylinder, to press the stacked cloths by the pushing face 12 of the pusher to sink the cloths by nearly the thickness of one cloth. As a result, a float-up surface 15 is brought into light contact with the uppermost cloth 3a as it is pressed by the pushing face 12, so that the cloth is made immovable. At that time, the lower end 10a of a claw 10 locally pushes down the cloth 3a and sticks therein. A reciprocator 27 is then gradually moved toward a hanger 26 by a cylinder CY2 so that a folded cloth part 33 between a claw holder 30 and a step 13 is displaced toward the step and finally put in a recess 21. The cloth part 33 is thus pinched between the claw 10 and the step 13.

For example, when feeding fabric to a sewing machine, if it were possible to automate feeding the stacked fabric one by one onto the sewing machine table starting from the top layer, the efficiency of sewing work would be dramatically improved. do. The biggest problem in this case is how to reliably grasp and separate only the uppermost fabric from a large number of stacked fabrics. Further, during work such as sewing, there may be cases where it is necessary to align the position of the fabric due to work circumstances, and furthermore, there may be cases where it is necessary to stack the sewn fabric at a predetermined location.

In such cases, an important issue is how to grip a piece of fabric reliably. For example, when considering the case where only the uppermost fabric is taken out from a stack of fabrics, since the fabric is flexible,
At that time, there are inconveniences such as the second fabric being transferred together, or the second fabric being moved due to friction when the first fabric is being transferred, and making sure that only the topmost fabric is transferred. It is extremely difficult to grasp and separate.

As shown in FIG. 2, the fabric suppressing member (9) is fixed to an inverted-shaped fixing member (E) that moves up and down as the air cylinder (CYI) (shown in FIG. 1) expands and contracts. That is, so that the lower surface (Jl) of the fabric pressing member (9) is horizontal,
In addition, the upper surface of the pressing part 01 is brought into contact with the lower end surface of the hanging piece (c) of the fixed member) so that the floating part QI is opposite to the horizontal piece of the fixed member), and the bolt hole (c) is inserted through it. It is screwed onto the hanging piece (c) using a bolt. Also, a reciprocating member Q is arranged between the horizontal piece (c) and the floating part QQ, which moves forward and backward with respect to the hanging piece Q→ by the expansion and contraction of an air cylinder (OY2) fixed to the hanging piece (c). It is set up.

In addition, when looking at the accuracy of the claw piece (a), the folded fabric part) is in a state where it is in light contact with the floating surface 0 →, and as mentioned above, the floating surface is usually finished as a smooth surface when it is 0. , the transition of the folded cloth portion (end) becomes extremely smooth. Further, in this embodiment, since the lower surface of the tip edge (16a) of the floating portion OQ is formed as a circular arc surface (a), the folded cloth portion C (e) does not move at all due to the floating portion θQ. As described above, the fabric gripping device of the present invention includes a fabric pressing member capable of pressing the fabric surface with its lower surface, and a claw member that cooperates with the fabric pressing member to grasp a suitable position on the surface of a piece of fabric. To be able to grip a piece of fabric reliably and without damaging the fabric in any way. Therefore, the fabric gripping device of the present invention can be suitably employed, for example, in a fabric feeding device that sequentially feeds stacked fabrics onto a sewing machine table one by one starting from the topmost fabric. It can be widely used in cases where it is necessary to grip fabric, such as when changing the position of the fabric.

In the fabric gripping device of the present invention, the dimensions and shape of the lower end portion (10→) of the claw member 00 may be the same as those shown in the embodiments, as long as they can bite into only one piece of fabric to be gripped. However, the lower end (10θ) of the claw member 01 may be provided with an uneven portion to the extent that it does not damage the fabric. However, the length of the protrusion depends on the I'X width, softness, etc. of the fabric to be gripped. The folded fabric part 6] is moved toward the stepped part 0:K and the fabric is stretched to the extent that it hangs. There is no problem as long as it digs in. Depending on the fabric to be gripped, fabric pressing members (9) with different widths and depths of the relief groove Qη, and claw members (9) that match the fabric pressing members (9) may be used. 10 shall be prepared in advance and used as appropriate. Also, the number of guide grooves aη provided in the fabric pressing member (9) is as follows:
Depending on the type of fabric, it may be set to one or an appropriate number of three or more.
