介されているが、必ずしも有効であると認められないも
のが含まれている。

常法により抽出し、これを血清コレステロール上昇抑制
物質として用いることを特徴とするものである。

抽出液を中和し蛋白質沈渣を除去し、得られた分離液を
中和すると共にアルコール溶剤を添加しヘミセルロース
の沈渣を得、これを分取し、これを水で溶解後、この水
溶液に透析処理を行ない、その透析液を乾燥して精製ヘ
ミセルロースから成る血清コレステロール上昇抑制物質
を得る。
