Conventionally provided sewing machines of this type have a separate guide member for guiding the decorative loop thread in addition to the presser plate for pressing the cloth, and the guide member is designed to move up and down independently. This results in a very complicated structure in which a support structure is used, and a special mechanism is added to enable interlocking operation between the separately formed member and the presser plate. However, such a configuration is not practical and has not yet appeared on the market.

Reference numeral 14 indicates a plurality of needle bars (three needle bars are shown in the figure) which are provided through the holding plate so as to be able to move up and down, and these needle bars move up and down parallel to the aforementioned operating rod 4. It is designed to be easy to use. 14', 14', and 14' indicate the heads of the needle bars, respectively. 15 a, lfi a
, 15a (AX is a seventh spring fitted to each of the needle bars described above, which is interposed between the holding plate and the connecting part 18a of the presser plate positive, and returns the presser plate positive to a constant raised position. 1.
Reference numerals 5b, 15b, and 1fib are second springs fitted to each needle bar, which connect the connecting portion 18a of the presser foot and the head 14' of the needle bar 14.
The needle bar is biased to always return to a fixed raised position. The relationship between the springs ta and 15b is as follows. That is, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, both are stretched to the maximum at all times. When the needle bar presser foot 10' is lowered as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. Spring II'+b located above the connecting part 18a
is compressed to a small degree as shown. This means that the spring force of the spring 15a on the lower side of the connecting part 18a is weak, and the spring force of the spring IF1b on the upper side of the connecting part 18a is stronger in comparison. Therefore, the needle presser foot 10' is the third
When moving up from the state shown in the figure, the second spring 15b, which has a strong spring force and is located above the connecting part 18a, first extends (4).
] Next, the first spring L'ia, which has a weak spring force and is located below the connecting part 18a, continues to extend, and finally the first spring L'ia
The state will be as shown in FIG. Both springs 1 above
The relationship between f1a and 1f+b is as described above. Reference numeral 16 indicates a normal needle fixed to the lower end of each needle bar 14, and reference numeral 17 indicates a needle stop portion for detachably fixing the needle 16 to the needle bar. Note that 18b indicates a cloth presser portion of the presser plate, 19 indicates a thread guide, and 18b indicates a hook installed inside the base 1.

Next, a normal sewing operation sequence using the sewing machine having the above configuration will be explained. First, a motor (not shown) is started to rotate the drive shaft 6 and the drive board 7 provided integrally therewith. This rotation of the drive plate 7 causes the actuation rod 4 to reciprocate in the vertical direction via the crankshaft 8. As the operating rod 4 moves downward, the locking portion 10' of the needle bar presser 10 holds seven of the plurality of copper rods 14 together with its presser plate, as shown in FIGS. 15a, 15b
Push down against the As a result, the cloth presser part 18b of the presser plate 1B presses the cloth (not shown) on the base 1, while the needle 16 at the lower end of the needle bar penetrates the cloth, and the thread at the tip of the needle is caused by the hook in the base 1. A thread rake is carried out and sewing operations as commonly known are carried out. Next, as the above-mentioned operating rod 4 rises, the needle bar presser foot IO also rises, and the needle bar 14
Due to the elasticity of the springs 15a and 15b, the presser foot rests and returns to the upper position. This completes one stroke of the equipping operation of the needle bar 14.

Next, if you want to continue sewing with a different thread by lowering the other needle bar 14, when the needle bar presser foot 10 is in the raised position, a driving device such as a stepping motor (not shown) is activated to remove the holding plate. ] The positions of the two abutting portions are changed, thereby rotating the holding plate 12 and moving the heads 14' of different needle bars 14 to positions below the locking portions 10' of the forceps bar presser 10. In this state, if the needle bar presser foot 10 is lowered, the same sewing as described above can be performed using the nine-needle bar 14.

Similarly, the needle bars can be sequentially switched according to a predetermined program. Therefore, if each of these needle bars is provided with threads of different types and colors, decorative stitches of (7) different thread types and colors can be sequentially sewn. If the rotation angle of the holding plate n when switching from one needle bar to the next needle bar is set to a rotation angle of //2 compared to the case described above, the needle bar presser 10 will operate on each needle bar. The needle bar is moved up and down between the needle bars every other time, and the needle bar is not operated, thereby making it possible to easily carry out the commonly known skip stitches of sewing machine stitches.

Next, the operation when performing loose stitching using the clamping body will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 to 10. In these figures, reference numeral 41 indicates a sewn filter cloth, string indicates a loop thread, and reference indicates a sewing thread. First, when the needle bar presser foot 10 is slightly lowered from the state shown in FIG. 6, as shown in FIG.
The needle bar 14 is lowered while the springs 1 and 5a are compressed, and as a result, the spring I, which has the weakest biasing force, is expanded. The cloth presser section] 8b overlaps with the clamping member a, and the loop yarn C passed through the needle hole is sandwiched between the cloth presser section 18b and each clamping member. Next, when the needle bar presser 10 further descends, the first
The spring 15a is further compressed and the needle bar 14 is further lowered.

In this case, since the presser foot 8b overlaps the clamping member a, they descend as one while holding the loop yarn θ. (The biasing force of the spring should be weak enough to clamp the loop between the presser foot 18b and the clamping member and lower it from the state shown in Fig. 7 to the state shown in Fig. R.)
Then, the clamping members come into contact with the cloth 41, and the cloth presser part 1
8b presses the cloth 41 via its clamping member I. Thereafter, when the needle bar presser foot 10 further descends, the second spring 15b contracts and the needle bar [4] further descends, and the needle 16 moves to the fabric presser section 18b.
The copper rod 14 passes through the needle hole of the needle a and the needle passing hole of the clamping member a and pierces the cloth 41 as shown in the diagram, until the copper rod 14 reaches the bottom dead center.

In this case, the needle 16 passes through the loop inserted into the needle hole and pierces the cloth 41 as shown in FIG. The loop yarn C existing in between becomes looped as shown in Fig. g. Then, in the process of the needle presser foot 10 rising, the second spring sb, which has the strongest biasing force, first stretches and presses the needle. The rod 14 rises and the needle 16 comes out of the cloth 41. In this case, even if the needle 16 is strongly stuck to the cloth 41,
The lifting body of the needle bar presser foot 10 engages with the engagement piece, and the needle bar 14
Since the needle 16 is forcibly pulled up, the needle 16 is quickly pulled out from the cloth 41. At this time, since the connecting piece area rises within the regulating hole s, it will not rotate around the axis of the needle bar 14 during the rotation restriction holiday, and therefore, the connection between the pulling body and the connecting piece area will be reduced. Engagement is achieved reliably. After that, when the needle 16 comes out of the fabric 41 and the needle stop part 17 comes into contact with the lower surface of the presser foot stop, the needle bar 14 and the presser foot stop are connected to the first spring L'+a. Rising as one through forces.

In this case, the gripping body, which is biased upward by the spring, also rises. (11) Eventually, the peripheral edge portion of the through hole in the connecting member portion of the clamping body (9) comes into contact with the regulating member 45 (for example, the copper rod support attached to the retaining plate 12) L7, as shown in FIG. state. In this case, since the loop yarn C is attached to the cloth 41 as described above in order to make the loop 44, the loop yarn C is attached to the cloth 41 together with the clamping member.
When the loop thread C, which is held between the thread 8b and the thread 8b, passes between them during the above-mentioned upward movement, it is let out downward.

Next, when the needle bar presser 10 further rises, the first spring 1fia
The pressing force causes the presser plate m and the needle bar 14 to further rise, and the needle bar 14 reaches the top dead center 1. In the process, the spring (is compressed as shown in Figure 1θ).
As shown in the .theta. diagram, the presser foot 18b and the clamping member are separated from each other, resulting in the same state as in the case of FIG. 6. If the loop yarn C is a stretchable yarn, there is no need for the loose yarn to pass through between the clamping member and the presser foot 1Bb in the process of moving from the diagram to the diagram in Figure 9. The spring force of the spring I may be strong enough to prevent the spring from slipping through.

As described above, the present invention includes a holding plate, a needle bar 14 which is attached to the holding plate so as to be vertically movable, and a needle bar 14 which is attached to the needle bar 14 so as to be vertically movable. A presser foot part 18 is provided at the lower end of the presser plate.
In this sewing machine, the fabric 41 is held down with the presser foot 1, and the fabric 41 is sewn through the needle 19 provided at the tip of the needle bar.
At the lower position of 8b, a separately formed clamping member J is provided so as to be able to freely move from and near, while the main body part 21 that is movable up and down when the presser plate is attached is movable up and down with respect to the main body part 21. The guiding member 31 is attached to the guide member 31, and the clamping member and the guide member 31 are integrally connected to form a clamping body (to), and the clamping body nozzle is connected to the clamping body (9) and the presser foot stop. Since the spring (interposed between them) biases the presser foot 18b and the clamping member a toward each other, the needle bar 14 is moved up and down to perform a sewing operation similar to normal sewing. When the clamping member W goes down, it clamps the loop thread part and descends, and after sewing is completed, the clamping member and the clamping member W are lowered to the presser foot 18.
The loop thread d rises while passing through the loop thread d between b, and only the presser foot 18b rises near the rising point to allow the loop thread 42 to pass freely, thereby allowing the loop thread d to be sewn beautifully. There are features that make it possible.
