能なフィルタを排気通路に設け、該フィルタの上流側に
て該フィルタに近接又は密着してセラミックヒータを配
置し、該ヒータへの通電により前記フィルタに付着した
排気パーティキュレートを着火、燃焼せしめるディーゼ
ルエンジンの排気カス浄化装置において、前記セラミッ
クヒータは電気抵抗値の異なる複数のセラミックヒータ
エレメントから成り、これらのヒータエレメントのアー
ス側端部が結合されて一体成形のセラミック体から構成
