Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a head which has no difference in abrasion loss between a spacer material and a core material and provides a good tape touch by using a special nonmagnetic material consisting of Cr-Ni-Fe in a tape sliding part. CONSTITUTION:The tape sliding part of a head consists of the two materials; the one characterized by using an alloy contg. the decreased amt. of Cr in an Ni-Cr-Fe alloy and the other characterized by using an alloy adding Cr to a Cu- Ni alloy. The more specific components of the former consist of 3-15% Cr, 10- 38% Ni, and the balance substantially Fe and consist more preferably 7-12% Cr, 15-35% Ni and the balance substantially Fe. The more specific components of the latter consist of 3-20% Cr, 2-70% Ni and the balance substantially Cu.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Technical Field of the Invention) The present invention relates to a hunting head that uses a special non-magnetic material in the tape sliding part so that it wears uniformly with the core.

(Technical background of the invention and its problems) Various materials are used for the core material of magnetic heads, but permalloy is the mainstream for audio use, which is the most abundant in terms of quantity. This permalloy has high magnetic permeability and is an easy-to-process material, but its major drawback is poor wear resistance, and even now, even though various wear-resistant permalloy materials have been proposed,
This is one of the fundamental problems. On the other hand, in the head, a non-magnetic material is used in the tape sliding portion as a spacer, gap, dummy, etc.

Until now, copper thread alloy and nickel silver have been used as non-magnetic materials for permalloy. These had disadvantages such as lack of corrosion resistance, use of permalloy which has good wear resistance, and inability to track. On the other hand, 5IJS304 and 5U
On the other hand, lift boards made of S316 have a MK resistance of F, so if they are used as a spacer, only that part will remain, leaving scratches on the tape or causing poor contact between the head core and the tape. there were.

(Objective of the Invention) Taking these circumstances into consideration, the present invention has developed a non-matrix material that can combine wear resistance with various permalloys and has good corrosion resistance for use in spacers, gaps, tammies, and tape sliding parts. The purpose is to provide a head used for this purpose.

(Summary of the Invention) The present invention provides N1-0 r -F in the tape sliding part of the head.
There are two types of alloys: one is characterized by using alloy 1a4, which is an e-based alloy with a reduced amount of Cr, and the other is characterized by using an alloy in which Or is added to a 0, u-N i 'S base metal. ing.

If CrI''i is less than 3%, corrosion resistance and wear resistance will be poor (20%)
Above this, the workability will be impaired. If N1 is less than 2%, workability is poor, and if it is more than 70%, it is difficult to become non-magnetic. In addition, Zn and Ti are added to this type of alloy for the purpose of increasing hardness.
may be added, and the addition of Or is also effective in such systems. In addition, in the present invention, permalloy is targeted as the herad core material, or an amorphous alloy with relatively poor wear resistance, F e -A A! -Si alloys are also useful.
