Conventionally, when manufacturing laminated decorative boards, adhesive is applied to a substrate such as plywood using a roll coater, etc., and then thin decorative paper is pasted using a continuous laminator after being properly dried using a drying device. I was wearing it.

However, such methods have various drawbacks. In other words, the degree of drying of the adhesive greatly affects the appearance of the decorative board after pasting the decorative thin paper, but the appropriate degree of drying depends on the size and sink condition of the decorative thin paper. Each time the type of decorative paper changes, the degree of drying of the adhesive must be changed accordingly, and furthermore, it may be necessary to control the adhesive over a long period of time to maintain a certain level of dryness that is appropriate for the thin decorative paper. It becomes necessary, but
Such a thing is extremely difficult.

Depending on the degree of the sizing effect, if the adhesive deviates from its proper dry state, for example, if the adhesive is wet, the thin decorative paper will tend to swell after being pasted;
If the weather is dry, the adhesive strength will be insufficient. Furthermore, lauan plywood, which is often used as a base material, has varying conduit hole roughness and hygroscopicity of the face veneer, making it impossible to control uniform bonding conditions. Roll 10 coater has some difficulty in applying smooth adhesive. These factors, such as the sizing effect, the base material, and the adhesive application method, all overlap, and the instability of the adhesive force between the base material and thin decorative paper is further exacerbated. 15 The present invention was made as a result of various studies to eliminate these drawbacks, and we have succeeded in finding a method for producing a laminated decorative board with excellent adhesion strength between the base material and thin decorative paper.

That is, in the present invention, a liquid having a property of swelling the thin decorative paper 20 is applied to the thin decorative paper, and while the thin decorative paper is in a swollen state, it is pasted onto a base material to which an adhesive has been applied in advance. This is a method for producing laminated decorative boards.

Before pasting the thin decorative paper on the base material, a liquid having the property of swelling the thin paper is applied to the back side of the thin paper, and the paper is applied to the base material while it is in a swollen state. Adhesion with adhesives is significantly promoted.

The base paper itself of ordinary thin decorative paper has a considerable size effect, so the adhesive rivet effect is low, and the air permeability is also low, making it difficult for the adhesive solvent to escape and causing local expansion. This is a factor that causes eye blisters. This example is particularly seen in so-called 35 pre-coated paper, which is a thin decorative paper whose printing surface is coated with a paint such as amino alkyd resin.

In order to prevent this blistering, the adhesive is dried, but as mentioned above, it is very difficult to keep this drying constant.

In the present invention, since the thin decorative paper is preliminarily applied with a liquid having the property of swelling the thin decorative paper to make it in a swollen state, the thin decorative paper is in a state where it is easily bonded to the adhesive. This provides stable adhesion.

In addition, the thin decorative paper, which swells rapidly before bonding with the adhesive, shrinks by drying using a hot roll press after being attached to the substrate, resulting in a stable and wrinkle-free surface. In the conventional method, thin decorative paper swells due to the adhesive, but due to the adhesive's adhesive strength, it does not swell uniformly, but instead swells locally, causing blisters and wrinkles. .

In addition, in the case of the present invention, since the thin decorative paper is attached in a swollen and therefore moist state, the adhesive applied to the base material can be attached even in a state that is more dried than in a normal dry state. It is.

The reason for this is that even in a state that would be too dry using conventional methods, it is reactivated by the liquid applied to the thin decorative paper. Therefore, the range of the appropriate degree of drying of the adhesive is correspondingly widened, and the control of the drying process becomes extremely easy.

It is recognized that the properties of the thin decorative paper are improved compared to the interpaper strength produced by the normal lamination method.

The swollen thin decorative paper according to the present invention differs in its properties from the previous one due to drying during or after application, and the cohesive strength of the pulp itself is improved, and the product performance and processing resistance are also improved.

Naturally, materials using hygroscopic synthetic paper or the like are also included within the scope of the present invention. The liquid having the property of swelling the thin decorative paper is selected from water, alcohol, or a mixture thereof, which has good compatibility with the adhesive.

Any method can be used to apply the liquid having the property of swelling the thin decorative paper, such as coating with a coat or the like, spraying, and the like. The amount to be applied varies depending on the paper quality, etc., and the most suitable amount for each paper quality is selected. The base material may be any material, such as plywood, wood board, particle board, hardboard, fiberboard, etc. In addition, when applying a liquid that has the property of swelling the thin decorative paper to the thin decorative paper, if the surface of the thin decorative paper is printed or a top coat has been applied, the liquid will be removed from the surface. Since it is difficult for the base paper to penetrate into the base paper and therefore not swell, it is necessary to apply it from the back side.

次に本発明の実施例を示す。Next, examples of the present invention will be shown.

Next, water was sprayed onto the back side of the thin decorative paper at a rate of 600 m/min using an airless sprayer, and the paper was continuously laminated onto the plywood at a speed of 60 m/min while being spattered with water.

The laminating conditions in this case were six heat rolls at 6'C to 100C and a pressure of 7Kt/? It was hot. The laminated decorative board obtained in this way is superior to decorative plywood obtained by conventional methods in terms of adhesion, cellophane tape resistance, appearance, ease of adhesive drying control, and uniformity of adhesion. It also has extremely excellent properties, and the range of use of the product has therefore become extremely wide.
