Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a titled secondary cable for a resistance welding machine which conducts large current to a weld zone and which has improved heat radiatability and maintainability by inserting a cable cover formed like a coil spring onto a said secondary cable. CONSTITUTION:A cable cover 3 formed of an insulator such as a resin like a coil spring at a specified pitch over the entire length of a secondary cable 1 for a resistance welding machine is inserted onto said cable. As a result, the curving near the terminal 2 of the cable 1 is relieved and averaged like an arrow B shown by a dotted line. The concentration of the strand breakage at the specific point of the cable 1 is thus prevented and the life of the cable 1 is extended. The heat radiatability from the cable 1 is improved by the above-mentioned method and the damage of the cable is easily discovered from the outside.

However, in a secondary cable for a resistance welding machine with such a configuration, heat radiation from the cable is blocked by the cable cover, which deteriorates heat radiation efficiency and causes wire breakage. Even if the wire is damaged, it is not visible from the outside, and when the cable is bent, the vicinity of both terminals tends to bend, and there is a problem in that wire breakage occurs concentratedly in the vicinity of the terminal.

本発明の目的は上記従来技術の欠点を解消し。The object of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art mentioned above.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. 1st
The figure shows the configuration of an embodiment of a secondary cable for a resistance welding machine according to the present invention, and in the figure, 1 is a cable;
2 is a terminal; 3 is formed of an insulating material such as resin in the shape of a coil spring at a constant pitch over the entire length of the cable;
In a conventional secondary cable for a welding machine that uses a rubber hose or the like as a cable cover, which may be a cable cover inserted over the cable 1, when the cable 1 is installed in the state shown in Fig. 2, the cable 1 is connected to the solid line (arrow A). ), the cable bends near both terminals (arrows I, I), strand breakage occurs at these parts, and cable breakage is concentrated near these terminals.

On the other hand, when the cable is covered with the cable cover 3 formed in the shape of a coil spring as in this embodiment, the bending of the cable 1 near the terminal 2 is relaxed, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 2 (arrow B). and averaged. For this reason, it is possible to prevent strand breaks from concentrating in a specific location of the Kerpul 1, and to extend the life of the cable. Further, according to this embodiment, the heat dissipation from the cable is improved, and damage to the cable can be easily detected from the outside.

By configuring it in this way, it is possible to average the bending ratio over the entire length of the cable 1 when the cable 1 is attached, and it is possible to avoid concentration of stress on a specific part of the cable 1, as shown in Figure 1. The lifespan can be further extended compared to the embodiment.

Next, FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, we focused on the fact that the vicinity of the terminals of the cable 1 is excessively bent when the cable 1 is installed, and stress is concentrated in this part, so we designed a cable cover with a constant coil pitch only in the vicinity of both terminals 2 and 2 of the cable 1. 23 and 23 are extrapolated. In addition, when inserting a cable cover only near both terminals 2 and 2 of the cable 1, as shown in FIG. A cover 33 may also be formed.

Furthermore, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the cable cover may be misaligned, so the end of the coil spring-shaped cable cover must be caulked together with the terminal when the cable 1 is terminated (FIG. 6), or Either hook it into the insertion hole provided in the terminal and lock it (Fig. 7), or the terminal (opening) part 2
(Fig. 8) to secure it and attach it to the cable.

In addition, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the case where the cable cover is attached near both terminals of the cable has been explained, but the cable cover may be attached only near one terminal depending on the installation state of the cable. It may be configured as follows. Further, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the coil diameter of the cable cover 63% 73 may be configured to gradually become smaller as it goes from the center of the cable 1 toward both terminals 2.2.

Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, the case where the cable cover is formed from an insulating material such as resin in the shape of a coil spring has been described, but instead of an insulating material such as resin, a metal spring may be coated with an insulating material. It's okay.

As explained above, in the present invention, a secondary cable for a resistance welding machine that conducts a large current to a welding part is configured so that a cable cover formed in the shape of a coil spring is fitted over the cable. Heat accumulation caused by the cover, which was a problem in the past, is eliminated, stress concentration near the cable terminals is alleviated, and the life of the secondary cable for resistance welding machines can be extended. In addition, since the cable can be observed from the outside, damage can be easily discovered, improving maintainability and eliminating quality problems such as spot separation.
