せたことを特徴とする苗植付装置な要旨とし、これによ
り、切断刃が上下に長い楕円形の軌跡を画いて運動する
間に苗の切断、搬送、植付けおよび退避の一連の動作を
行うが、特にクランクリンク先端の軸からの植付腕の先
方部分の長さを後方部分の長さよりも大きくしたので、
小さいクランク機構でありながら、切断部を大きく上下
動させることができ、ひいては植付腕の上下揺動駆動部
を小型化、及び軽量化できるのであり、しかも小さいク
ランク機構で切断部を大きく上下動できることから、植
付部の上下揺動駆動部を圃場より高い位置にすることで
きることと、植付腕先端における、切断部を平面視にお
いて植付腕に対してその長手方向と直角な方向にずらせ
たことによって苗植え中又は苗植え後の苗葉が植付腕の
基部に殆んど接触しないことと相俟って、丈の高い成苗
であってもその葉茎をほとんど傷めないで植えつげるこ
とができるものである。
