Abstract

PURPOSE:To position exactly a screen without visual operations by inserting guide pins into the two through-holes provided to a screen and the guide holes of a printed circuit board matching said holes and adjusting the position. CONSTITUTION:A metal mask screen 1 is provided with two through-holes 2, is formed thereon with a pattern 3 with the through-holes 2 as a reference and is fixed to a screen holder 4. On the other hand, guide holes 7 are provided in the position matching with the holes 2 on a printed circuit board 5 to be formed thereon with thickn film integrated circuits. The mounting of the screen 1 is accomplished by inserting guide pins 9 in the holes 7, inserting the holes 2 onto the pins, and drawing the pins 9 after positioning the screen 1. The need for the conventional visual operation is thus eliminated and the relative positioning of the screen 1 and the board 5 is accomplished exactly in a short time.
