Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispense with caulking work and easily and securely attach a counterweight to a rotary member, by applying a brazing material to the peripheral surface of the counterweight, inserting the weight into the rotary member and then applying electricity to melt the brazing material. CONSTITUTION:To attach a counterweight 2 to a rotary member 1 to eliminate its imbalance, a brazing material 5 such as silver solder is first applied to at least part of the peripheral surface of the counterweight and the weight is then screwed into the tapped hole 1a of the rotary member. Electricity is thereafter applied to the counterweight 2 to melt the brazing material 5 between the weight and the rotary member 1 to conjoin them to each other. According to this method, conventional caulking work is dispensed with so that the dropping- off of the counterweight due to insufficient caulking and the damage to a threaded part due to excessive caulking are avoided. The attachment of the counterweight 2 to the rotary member 1 is thus made easy and secure.

でバランスウェイト2に導電してジュール熱により接合
部のろう材を溶解せしめ9両者を固着する。閘上記実施
例においてはバランスウェイト2を回転体1にねじ込む
構成としたが、ねじを設けずに、圧入してろう付けを行
ってもよい。
