An automatic grinder 5 is provided on the surface of the roll 4 and keeps grinding the surface at all times. 稼働率を低下てせるばかりでなく、人手で研削を行なう
場合、ロール表面円周方向の一定量研削、ロール軸方向
の一定量の研削が出来ず、ロール外周にひずみ(偏芯)
が出来る。また、ロール表面にクラウンが出来る事によ
り、製品の板厚が不均一になる不具合があった。
