Abstract

PURPOSE:To make sheet paper reach to the rear end of a tray and stackable with certainty, by accelerating the sheet paper just before stacking it, in case of a horizontal sheet paper stacker device for copying machines. CONSTITUTION:Sheet paper 3 is fed at a velocity V1 by each of rollers 8 and 9 from the stacker side, and when it bites into feed rollers 1 and 2, a feed rate of the sheet paper 3 is accelerated to a velocity Vi being speedier than the speed V1 whereby a slip is produced between the sheet paper 3 and these rollers 8 and 9. Afterward, the sheet paper 3 separates from these rollers 8 and 9, then fed outside at the velocity Vi through rotation in these feed rollers 1 and 2 and, after reaching to the rear end of a tray 4 in an easy manner, is stopped thereat by means of a guide plate, thus stacked up on a sheet paper stack 5. Doing like this, the sheet paper will not be stopped while it does not reach to the tray rear end, so that stacking the sheet paper can be achieved with certainty.

Therefore, even if it is a roll paper or a folded paper when stored in an apparatus, if it is a sheet paper (cut paper) when it is discharged, it is included in the sheet paper of the present invention. Reference numeral 4 denotes a tray on which sheets ejected by the apparatus side, that is, feed rollers 1 and 2 are stacked. This tray 4Fi sheet paper 3 is arranged with the front end side inclined downward, and the sheet paper 3 is stacked by its own weight.

When the tray 4 is placed horizontally in this way, if the feeding speed of the sheet paper 3 is slow, as shown in FIG.
The sheet paper 3 fed out from the stacked paper sheets 3 bends, and its leading edge contacts the top surface 5 of the stacked sheets of paper 3, and the leading edge of the paper sheet fed out from the stacked paper sheet 3 does not advance due to frictional force. A sheet paper guide whose rear end is formed with a guide 7 and a guide 7 has the disadvantage that it gets caught in the guide 6 and cannot be accommodated in the tray 4.

In addition, if the feeding speed of the sheet paper 3 is fast, the above-mentioned problem will not occur, but since the feeding speed is limited to the speed unique to the copying machine and reading device that feeds the stacker, the above-mentioned problem may occur. .

In the figure, FIG. 3(a) shows a state in which a sheet of paper is being sent to the vicinity of the stacker device, FIG. 3(b) shows a state in which the sheet of paper is caught in the accelerating means, and FIG. 3(c) 0 shows the state in which sheet paper is being fed into the tray. In the figure, the same symbols as in Figures 1 and 2 indicate the same thing, and 8 and 9 in the figure indicate the feeding rollers on the device side. show. As shown in FIG. 3(a), sheet paper 3 is fed from the apparatus side by rollers 8 and 9 at vtcm/B.

The paper feed speeds of the feed rollers 8 and 9 and the feed rollers 1 and 2 are different, but the method for changing the paper feed speed is the gear ratio of the drive system of the feed rollers 8 and 9 and the drive system of the feed rollers 1 and 2. This can be done by changing the diameter of the roller or by changing the diameter of the roller. Thereafter, the sheet paper 3 is separated from the feed rollers 8 and 9, and the paper sheet 3 is separated from the feed rollers 1 and 2 as shown in FIG.
The sheets are fed out at a speed of 5y2 cm/s, easily reach the rear end of the tray 4, are stopped by a guide plate provided at the rear end, and are deposited on the sheet stack 5.

Therefore, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the screw bolt 21.2 is configured to be driven by a motor 11 via a torque limiter 10.

In FIG. 4(a), the feed roller 8. 9th 1. 2
At this time, if the driving torque required to accelerate the sheet paper 3 with the feed rollers 1 and 2 is T1, TI is the amount of time when the sheet paper 3 is caught between the feed rollers 8 and 2. The torque (assumed to be T) required for the feed rollers 1 and 2 to feed the sheet paper 3 when it is not sandwiched between the paper sheets 9 and 9 becomes greater.

Therefore, the torque limiter 10 transmits 9 when the torque exceeds Ttk.
0-21,2, the transmission force of the motor 11 can be prevented from reaching its full potential. As a result, when the sheet paper 3 is caught by the feed rollers 8 and 9, it is fed at the feed speed vIcIn/S determined by the feed rollers 8 and 9. At this time, the feed rollers 1 and 2 follow the movement of the sheet paper 3.

Therefore, the sheets of paper 3 can be stacked without being damaged. The torque limiter shown in this embodiment is an electromagnetic friction clutch or the like. Furthermore, if the DC motor 11 is driven with a constant current, the drive motor and torque limiter can be integrated.
