Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress a position variation of a recording medium without working steadily an excessive pressing force by providing the second pressing energizing member which works only in case when the position variation of the recording medium exceeds a prescribed value, in addition to the first enegizing member for giving a pressing force to the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A titled magnetic head is provided with the second load springs 18, 19 which work only in case when a position variation of a floppy disk 8 exceeds a prescribed value, and for instance, it shows the same movement as a conventional magnetic head while the position variation of the floppy disk 8 is smaller than a limit value of a gap (g), but when the variation exceeds the limit value of the gap (g), the magnetic head also moves following it, a hook 14 or 14' contacts by pressing with the second load spring 18 or 19, and its pressing force is added to a pressing force of a supporting spring 4 or 5.
