Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the cutting efficiency of a diamond tip saw, by making the front of a setting piece for a diamond tip so as to be tilted forward, while having a coolant solution act on the tip so effective a range. CONSTITUTION:A diamond tip 2 is secured tight to a U-shaped setting piece 3 which is stuck fast to an endless belt 1 whereby a diamond tip saw is formed in design. A front 4 of the setting piece 3 is formed in a way of filting it toward the front to some extent. The cutting oil poured on to the endless belt 1 moves forward together with the belt 1. The setting piece 3 collides with cutting oil L' at a sawing path 6 and bumped off downward by the front 4. The cutting oil acts on a cutting surface, while the coolant solution brings its substantial effect into full play.

As a result, the welded part of the endless band becomes brittle and easily breaks, and the welded part is made of heat-deformed metal, which impairs the alignment of the diamond tip, which significantly shortens the life of the diamond tip saw itself. This had the disadvantage of reducing cutting efficiency. In order to solve this drawback, the present inventor has invented a method for attaching a diamond chip to an endless band not directly but indirectly through a mounting piece, and has already filed an application (Japanese Patent Application No. 19
No. 3932]. In this method, a diamond chip is welded to a mounting piece in advance, and this mounting piece is attached to the endless band by means other than welding, such as punching or betting. Although this diamond-tipped saw achieved the desired effects in terms of lifespan and cutting efficiency, it was the same as the conventional one in that it was difficult to supply cutting fluid to the cutting edge, and as for the poor cutting efficiency caused by this, It was a problem that could not be resolved. In other words, during cutting, the point of action of the cutting edge is located at the deepest point of the cutting path, and the cutting path is narrow and almost completely blocked by the endless band, so it is not possible to apply cutting fluid directly to this part. Can not. For this purpose, a method has been adopted in which the cutting fluid is poured onto the endless band and flows down along the side surface of the endless band. However, the turning path is narrow and the distance between the side surface of the endless band and the inner wall surface of the turning path is extremely small, so the cutting fluid flows down to the lower edge of the endless band before it enters the turning path. Since it adheres to the endless band and the wall surface of the grinding channel in the grinding channel, surface tension acts on it, causing it to lose its tendency to flow down and almost never reach the cutting edge of the diamond tip.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and by attaching diamond chips to the endless band through a mounting light, alignment of the diamond chips is ensured and thermal embrittlement of the endless band is eliminated. This is a diamond-tipped saw with high cutting efficiency, and at the same time, the front surface of the mounting piece is tilted forward so that cutting fluid can be sent to the cutting edge.

The true H-endless band 11A and the diamond tip 2 are similar to those of a normal diamond tip saw of this type, and the mounting piece 3 is a plate-shaped material that serves as an intermediary for attaching the diamond tip 2 to the endless band 1. It has a U-shaped bent shape,
A diamond tip is attached to its bottom.
In particular, the mounting piece 3 is formed so that its front surface 4 is slightly inclined forward. 2 tons of diamond chips on this mounting piece 3
- The mounting method is not particularly limited; for example, the diamond tip 2 may be brought into explosive contact with the mounting piece 3, or the mounting piece may be formed integrally with the diamond chip when manufacturing the diamond chip. It is taken. Then, the mounting piece formed in this way is attached to the endless band by a method other than welding such as punching or betting,
Then the diamond chip is attached.

As detailed above, the present invention is a diamond tip saw in which a diamond tip is attached to an endless band via a mounting piece, and the front surface of the mounting piece is formed with a slight forward inclination.

That is, when cutting fluid is poured onto one point P of the endless belt 1, the cutting fluid travels along the endless belt 1 until the endless i1 enters the grinding path 6 of the workpiece 5. When the point P moves to the point P', the cutting fluid reaches 7 near the lower edge. When point P eventually enters the grinding path 6, since the gap between the wall surface of the grinding path and the endless band is extremely narrow, the cutting fluid comes into contact with both sides of the wall surface and the endless band, filling the gap between the two. state (see Figure 2). Then, the downward tendency of the cutting fluid is suppressed by capillary action based on the surface tension of the cutting fluid, and the adhesion force between the endless band 1 and the wall surface and the advancing speed are significantly reduced. In other words, if the advancing speed of the endless band 1 is X, the distribution of the flow of cutting fluid in the turning path is as shown in Figure 3.In the end, the average advancing speed of the cutting fluid in the turning path is also has a much smaller velocity X. In other words, this means that the amount of cutting fluid actually carried into the turning path is significantly smaller than the amount of cutting fluid L) that adheres to the endless band 1 and attempts to be carried into the turning path. do. Therefore, the cutting fluid is shut out at the entrance A of the grinding channel, and no more than a certain amount can enter. Like this,
The cutting fluid poured onto the endless band 1 adheres to the endless band 1 and travels along with the endless band, and when it eventually reaches the entrance A of the turning path, its speed decreases rapidly, but on the other hand, the mounting piece 3 It is attached to band 1 and moves completely integrally with it.

Therefore, the mounting piece 3 collides with the cutting fluid in the turning path 6. Here, since the mounting piece 3 is formed with its front side tilted forward, it has the effect of splashing the cutting fluid downward toward the cutting surface, which is the bottom of the turning path. The cutting fluid begins to exert its effect (see Figure 4). In addition, since there is no more cutting fluid blocking the vicinity of the entrance of the grinding path, new cutting fluid d is introduced into this area, and in the end, sufficient cutting fluid is supplied to the cutting surface. This increases cutting efficiency.
