[Detailed description of the invention] When inserting an endoscope into a living body cavity and searching for a lesion, the rigid tip of the endoscope is generally inserted forward while observing a wide field of view. When performing a detailed examination of a lesion, etc., or collecting cell tissue from a lesion using forceps, it is not necessary to be able to observe a wide field of view; rather, it is preferable to be able to magnify and observe the lesion, even with a narrow field of view. It is.

の実施例に基づいて詳細に説明することとする。
In view of the above-mentioned points of view, the present invention uses a low-magnification optical element that allows observation of a wide field of view in the direction perpendicular to the hard tip, and allows for magnified observation of lesions, etc. in the lateral direction of the hard tip. The endoscope is equipped with high-magnification optical elements and has two functions that suit the actual situation, and has a simple structure that allows the examiner to search for lesions and perform medical examinations with extreme precision. For this purpose, the present invention will be explained in detail below based on the illustrated embodiments.

First, in FIG. 1 showing the first embodiment, 1 denotes a rigid tip portion connected to the tip of the flexible tube portion of the endoscope.
Reference numeral 2 denotes an optical fiber bundle for image transmission disposed within the rigid tip portion 1, and an objective lens system 3 is disposed in front of it.

Therefore, when the prism 4 is positioned as shown by the solid line in the figure, the light transmitted through the low magnification optical member 5 is transmitted to the objective lens system 3.
When the light is guided by the dotted line in the figure, the light transmitted through the high magnification optical member 6 is guided to the objective lens system 3.

In such an advancing operation, a wide field of view inside the body cavity is observed through the low magnification optical member 5, a lesion, etc. is searched for, and once a lesion, etc. is discovered, the prism 4 is immediately moved by pushing and pulling the operation wire. It is positioned as shown by the dotted line, and lesions and the like within the body cavity are magnified and observed through the high magnification optical member 6.

This reflecting mirror 14 is arranged so as to be rotatable by pushing and pulling operation wires of a hand-held operation unit (not shown).
When performing observation with a wide field of view, the reflecting mirror 14 is moved away from the optical axis connecting the low magnification optical member 5 and the objective lens system 3, and when performing observation with a narrow field of view, the optical axis of the objective lens system 3 is retracted. A reflecting mirror 14 is rotatably exposed at the top, and the light transmitted through the high magnification optical member 6 located on the side of the hard tip portion 1 is reflected at the reflecting mirror 14 and guided in three directions of the objective lens system. It has become.

As is clear from the above description, in the present invention, in an endoscope in which an optical member for changing the field of view is disposed on the front surface of the optical fiber bundle for image transmission via an objective lens system, magnifications are different in different viewing directions. The optical member is inserted into the biological cavity, and the optical member is inserted into the biological cavity so that the optical axis of the optical member and the optical axis of the objective lens system are selectively matched by the visual field changing optical member. When searching for lesions while observing the inside of the body, we use low-magnification optical elements with a wide field of view to increase the chances of discovery. Not only for diagnosis and collection of cell tissue from lesions using forceps, but also for treatment, high-magnification optical elements are used to increase accuracy and reliability, although the field of view is narrower. The present invention has achieved excellent effects such as making it possible to perform various functions, thereby further increasing the practicality of this type of endoscope.
