Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 圧延機業界に於いて、圧延機のロール交換を行なうため
の経済的かつ迅速な手順を提供するために、多くの試み
がなされて来た。
ワークロールは一般に、バックアップロールに比して、
しばしば交換を要するために、ワークロール交換にはよ
り多くの注目が払われて来ている。
これら従来の試みの１例を第１図〜第３図を用いて説明
する。
相対するハウジングに２本のレール４を設け、このレー
ル４上を軸受箱３に取付けてある車輪７をロール軸方向
に走行させロール交換を行なう方法が一般的である。
しかし、この方法では、ハウジング１の窓内にレール４
が設置されているためプロジェクトブロック８内のシリ
ンダーのメンテナンス時、ハウジング窓内のレール４が
障害となりシリンダーのロツド６を引き出すことが出来
ずその都度、レール４を取りはずした後、ロツド６を引
きぬき、シリンダー内のメンテナンスを行なうという欠
点を有していた。
本発明は上述の欠点を解決し、かつ、迅速、容易なロー
ル組替方式を提供するものである。
本発明は、左右１対のハウジングに設けられた２本のレ
ール上を、軸受箱に取り付けてある車輪によりロール軸
方向へ走行させてロール組替を行なうものに於いて、ハ
ウジング窓内にはレールを設けず、左右のハウジング内
壁間にのみレールを敷設し、かつ、ロール組替用車輪を
、ロール軸方向にハウジングの厚み以上の間隔を持って
同一軸受箱に取りつけたことを特徴とするものである。
本発明の実施例を第４図〜第６図を用いて説明する。
左右のハウジング１，１４の内壁間のみにロール組替用
レール４を敷設し、軸受箱３，９には、車輪１０．１１
及び１２．１３がそれぞれロール軸方向間隔がハウジン
グの厚み以上となるように取り付けられている。
以上の構成によりロール２及び軸受箱３，９がハウジン
グ１，１４内にあるときは車輪１１．１２によりロール
２及び軸受箱３，９は支えられている。
この状態を示したのが第５図である。
ロール組替中、ロールが軸方向に移動すると軸受箱９を
支えていた車輪１２が、ハウジング１４の窓内に移動し
荷重を支えなくなるが、その直前に車輪１３がロール交
換台のレール１５上に乗り、軸受箱９を支える様になる
。
この状態を示したのが第６図であり、ロール２、軸受箱
３，９は車輪１１，１３で支えられているので、従来通
りの迅速、かつ、容易なロール組替が可能となる。
従って、本発明は迅速、かつ、容易なロール組替が可能
で、かつ、プロゼクトブロック内のシリングーのメンテ
ナンスを容易にすることができる。
またロール組替用レールがハウジング窓内に設置されな
いため、レールによるシリンダーストロークの制約がな
くなり、シリンダーストロークを、長くとれるという効
果を奏する。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ ロール軸受を受容する窓を備えた左右１対のハウジ
    ングに２本のレールを掛け、前記ロール軸受に設けられ
    た車輪を、前記レール上で走行させることにより、ロー
    ル組替を行なうロール組替装置に於いて、前記レールを
    、左右１対のハウジング内壁間にのみ敷設し、しかも前
    記ロール軸受に設けられた車輪のロール軸方向間隔を少
    なくともハウジングの厚み以上にしたことを特徴とする
    圧延機のロール組替装置。
