一次側に誘起される電圧の一方向成分をスイッチング回
路により短絡し、これによる短絡電流が所定値に達した
ときに前記短絡電流を遮断して前記点火コイルの二次側
に高電圧を誘起させる自己トリカニ式のエンジン点火装
置において、前記点火コイルの一次側に、前記短絡され
る電圧とは逆方向成分の電圧で導通するダイオードを介
してバッテリーを直列接続したことを特徴とする自己ト
