Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the prevention of ununiform coating and sticking of varnish to an unrequired part and to put to practical use continuous mass processing by dripping impregnation, by dripping insulation vernish onto a coil being made rotated of itself, and by dispersing the varnish by a means or mechanism for dispersing the varnish so that the coil is impregnated therewith. CONSTITUTION:According to a processing method of dripping impregnation, varnish 3 dripping down from a dripping nozzle 1 is dispersed uniformly throughout the whole surface of a coil by a brush 2, as shown in Figure A. In this case, the brush 2 has a mechanism which operates vertically with the movement of the coil, while contacting the coil, or it is devised not to hinder the movement of the coil by means of a spring mechanism. In the case when thick coating is made additionally after uniform dispersion and impregnation are made, varnish is further dripped as shown in Figure B after the processing shown in Fig. A is completed. As to a brush employed, the quality and shape thereof can be selected appropriately according to the shape of an article to be processed and the kind of varnish.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of dropping an insulating varnish and impregnating it evenly onto an array-wound coil.

Insulating varnish treatment methods for insulation treatment can be roughly divided into two types: impregnation treatment (dip) and drip impregnation treatment (drip). When applying insulating varnish to aligned wound coils (bobbin-wound coils, lamp coils, ignition-sub-coils, etc.), varnish may adhere to unnecessary areas or make it impossible to coat the coil surface uniformly and thickly with dipping. There are drawbacks. Also, in drip impregnation, the coil winding direction and the coil rotation direction are the same.

There are disadvantages such as the varnish dropped onto the coil is not dispersed on the coil surface and falls from the place where it was dropped (Fig. 1). Conventionally, in order to uniformly coat the coil surface, taping on the coil and dipping with low viscosity varnish have been adopted.

In view of the above circumstances, the inventor of the present invention has conducted various studies on an impregnation treatment method that does not require complicated means and uses a varnish of normal viscosity to coat the coil surface evenly, and has developed a two-drop impregnation force method. By adopting a means or mechanism for dispersing two drops of varnish, uniform coating on the coil can be achieved and the present invention has been achieved. That is, the present invention is a festival drop impregnation treatment method in which insulating varnish is dropped onto the coil while the coil rotates, and the varnish is dispersed and impregnated using a varnish dispersion means or mechanism.

Figure '1 shows that in the conventional varnish dripping impregnation treatment method, the varnish dropped on the bobbin-wound coil is only impregnated with the varnish in and around the area where the varnish was dropped, and furthermore, as the coil rotates, the varnish spreads from the coil surface. falls.
