DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an electrical contact used in a relay and an electrical contact using this electrical contact.

In recent years, with the miniaturization of relays, the electrical contacts used in them are also required to be compact, and in order to satisfy this demand, as shown in Fig. 1, the surface of the electrical contact 3 having the contact metal 1 is An electric contact 5 is used in which a conductive plate 4 is bonded to one surface of a composite material 2 (1) adjacent to the .

Conventionally, as a method for obtaining such an electric contact 5, a projection scene 6 for welding is provided on one side of the composite material 2 adjacent to the surface having the electric contact 3, as shown in FIG.
A method has been used in which the Kusheen 6 is melted by resistance welding or the like and joined to the conductive plate 4 to form the electric contact 5.

However, in this method of melting the projection sheet 6 and joining it to the conductive plate 4 by resistance welding, etc., a part of the melted projection sheet 6 is likely to be generated as burrs during resistance tB welding, etc. Since the contactor 5 is small, it is difficult to remove burrs if they occur in this way, and the contact surface with other contacts of the contact metal l is adjacent to the joint surface with the conductive plate 4. Therefore, there is a drawback that the burrs extend to the contact surface and deteriorate the contact properties. Furthermore, dust during welding tends to adhere to the contact surface of the contact metal 1, which is also a factor in reducing the contact performance.

(2) The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and is caused by the fact that when a conductive plate is bonded to one side of the composite material adjacent to the surface having the contact metal of the electrical contact, dirt and dust are removed. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrical contact that does not cause the occurrence of such problems and therefore does not reduce its contact reliability, and an electrical contact using the electrical contact.

The electric contact according to the present invention and the electric contact using the electric contact will be explained below. One of the present invention is shown in Fig. 3a.
As shown in Fig. 3, there is an electrical contact 3' having a caulking protrusion 7 on one side adjacent to the surface having the contact metal l. After fitting the caulking protrusion tiIh7 of the electric contact 3' into the hole 8 in order to fit the caulking protrusion 7 provided on the electric contact 3' at the location where the electric contact 3' is to be joined, FIG. This is an electrical contact 5' which has been caulked as shown in C.

(3) However, the electrical contact and the electrical contact using the electrical contact according to the present invention are not fusion bonded by resistance welding as in the past as a means of joining the electrical contact and the conductive plate, but are crimped to the electrical contact. In order to join the electrical contacts and the conductive plate by providing a protrusion, providing a hole in the conductive plate to fit the caulking protrusion, and caulking the caulking protrusion, the conventional birch plate is used. There is no generation of smear or dust, and therefore, these substances do not adhere to the contact surface of the contact metal, and as a result, even when the electrical contact is used for relaying electricity, the contact does not occur. This can prevent reliability from decreasing.
