Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to clean dusts easily by impinging a gas to be treated onto a heat accumulating material at the surface of an endless belt to attach dusts on its surface and at the same time spreading a heat carrier such as water on this heat accumulating material. CONSTITUTION:The air returning from the room passes as shown by the arrow through ducts 7-9 and carried to a heat exchanger that consists of a chain conveyor 1, and exchanges its heat with a heat accumulator 1A, and at the same time the dusts in it are attached onto the surfaces of the heat accumulator 1A to remove dusts. The air that has lost its dusts is supplied to the room. On the other and the temperature of the heat accumulating material 1A gets near the room temperature after the heat exchanging and the material 1A moves downwards and again acquires a temperature difference from the room temperature after passing through a water tank 3 and receiving cold water spray and at the same time the dusts on the surfaces are cleaned and removed. The above mentioned processes are repeated to effect heat exchanging with the dusts in the air removed.

The present invention provides an endless belt mounted on a pair of sprockets connected to a driving means so as to vertically cross a duct through which a gas to be treated flows, and a heat storage material provided on the surface of the endless belt. By colliding the gas to be treated with the heat storage material to cause dust to adhere to the heat storage material, and spraying a heat medium such as hot or cold water onto the heat storage material to which the dust has adhered, heat is stored in the heat storage material and at the same time the dust is deposited on the surface of the heat storage material. It is designed to clean the dust that has been removed.

In the above configuration, the return air from the room is carried through the duct as shown by the arrow to the heat exchange section consisting of the chain conveyor 1, where it exchanges heat with the heat storage material IA and at the same time removes dust from the surface of the heat storage material IA. After being removed, air is supplied to the room. On the other hand, the heat storage material IA approaches room temperature after heat exchange,
After moving toward the bottom and passing through the water in the aquarium, it is sprayed with hot or cold water to obtain a temperature difference from room temperature again, and at the same time, the dust on the surface is washed and removed. The above operations are repeated to exchange heat and remove dust from the air.

In the above embodiment, the belt 1 may be any other type of belt as long as it can add more heat storage material IA. The heat storage material IA may be made of any material, such as synthetic resin, as long as it has a relatively large heat capacity and has a heat exchange function.

As described above, according to the present invention, the dust attached to the surface of the heat storage material is automatically cleaned even when it is carried out in a dusty place, so there is no need for a lot of maintenance cost, and the installation space is also limited to the inside of the duct. Since only the part of the heat storage material that passes through is required, it can be made small, making it possible to provide an extremely efficient dust removal and heat exchange device.
