Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated film having an emboss matching the texture of a woven cloth by a method wherein a woven cloth is laid on a (semi)transparent film laminated on a cloth the same as said cloth and pressure welded with a flat roll under heat to emboss. CONSTITUTION:A thermal adhesive 13 with a viscosity of 500-1,000 CPS is applied on a woven cloth 12 with a roll coater 14 so that impregnation thereof is caused up to about one-third to one-fifth of the thickness. After the cloth is dried in a drying furnace 5, a (semi)transparent thermoplastic resin film 10' is bonded thereon with a heated nip roll 16 to obtain a laminate 1'. Then, the laminate 1' is heated with a heater 2 while a woven cloth 3' the same as the woven cloth 12 is laid on the film 10', pressure welded with a flat roll 4 to emboss so that the film 10' is laminated to match the texture of the woven cloth 12. Thereafter, the laminate is cooled with a cooling roll 5 to separate the woven cloth 3' which is reeled up with a reeling roll 6 while the product is wound with a winder 7.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In order to laminate a transparent or translucent thermoplastic resin film (hereinafter referred to as the film) in a manner that matches the weave of a woven fabric, the present invention provides a laminate of a woven fabric and the film. (hereinafter referred to as the laminate), and while a woven fabric same as the laminate is overlaid on the film of the laminate, a film of woven fabric is simultaneously pressed with an E flat roll and embossing/11 bossed. The purpose is to provide a laminating method.

Many items, such as tablecloths, are intended to prevent water from penetrating and to allow dirt to be easily wiped off. A method for laminating a film on a woven fabric is to apply an adhesive to one side of the film using a roll coater or the like.

It can be attached to a woven fabric using a dry lamination method or a wet lamination method, or there is a method of applying a heat-sensitive adhesive to one side of either the woven fabric or film, letting it dry, and then heat-bonding it. The laminates produced by these methods have a flat surface and are strong, giving the impression that they are laminated with films, and have the drawback that the taste of the woven fabric cannot be fully utilized. Also, as a method of laminating a film in a shape that matches the weave of the woven fabric, when laminating the thermoplastic resin film on the woven fabric, the thermoplastic resin film is heated (2) to soften it, and at the same time, suction is applied from the back side of the woven fabric. There is a method of embedding the softened thermoplastic resin film into the weave, but this method requires quite large-scale equipment and requires quite advanced technology. Moreover, the quality of the product itself cannot be said to be that excellent.

At this time, a conventional method may be used to laminate the film onto the woven fabric, but some restrictions must be placed on the amount and method of application of the adhesive. In other words, when the film is bitten through the weave of the woven fabric,
If the adhesive is applied only to the convex part of the weave and not to all four parts, even if the film gets embeded in the weave, it will not be able to be bonded and the film will return to its original state.
If the entire woven fabric is impregnated with the adhesive, there will be no problem in adhesion between the film and the woven fabric, but the woven fabric itself will become stiff.

The original texture of the woven fabric is lost. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to prevent such problems from occurring, but when applying dry laminating adhesive or heat-sensitive adhesive to one side of the film, do not apply the adhesive to the entire surface of one side of the film. Since the adhesive is applied, there will be no unbonded areas, and since the adhesive will not impregnate the fabric, the feel of the fabric will not be impaired. but.

The amount of application may be set so that the thickness of the woven fabric used is impregnated with the woven fabric. Second, when applying a heat-sensitive adhesive to one side of a woven fabric and performing calothermal lamination, the amount of adhesive impregnated into the woven fabric depends on the thickness of the woven fabric, as in the case of 1 above. ~ Set 1 to include jump level ~. The appropriate viscosity of the adhesive is 500 to 1,000 CpS. If you set the adhesive conditions as described above, there may be some unbonded parts.

In accordance with the present invention, it is also conceivable that the same woven fabric as the laminate is not used, and that synchronized embossing is carried out using an embossing roll with engravings identical to the weave of the woven fabric. As described above, the present invention involves laminating a transparent or translucent thermoplastic resin film (hereinafter referred to as the film) on the surface of a woven fabric, and embossing the laminate without heating. In the step of forming the laminate, a woven fabric with the same strain as that used for the laminate is applied to the IC layer on the film of the laminate, and at the same time, the film is embossed by pressing with a flat roll. Since the film is laminated in a shape that matches the weave of the woven fabric, it is possible to obtain a film-laminated woven fabric that expresses the taste of the woven fabric as it is, does not allow water to penetrate, and can easily wipe away dirt that adheres to it.
