    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シリンダボアを有するシリンダブロックと、前記シリン
    ダボアの一端を閉じるシリンダヘッドと、前記シリンダ
    ポア内に配設されたピストンとを含み、前記シリンダヘ
    ッドは燃焼室窪みを有し、前記シリンダヘッドと前記ピ
    ストンとは前記燃焼室窪みの一方の側にスキッシュエリ
    アを郭定しており、前記燃焼室窪みに点火プラグが設け
    られ、前記燃焼室窪みに吸気ポート及び排気ポートが各
    々開口しており、前記排気ポートは前記燃焼室窪みの他
    方の側に延在して排気導管に接続されるよう構成されて
    いることを特徴とする内燃機関。
