Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely lift and lower a blade, by sliding and engaging an arm receiving member to an arm, providing the arm receiving member in the vicinity of a shuttling mition stop end of the wiper arm and guiding said receiving member in such a manner that the wiper blade is separated from a wiped surface. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 9 is fixed to a car body 6, and sloped guide grooves 9c, diagonally formed for a base seat 9b of the guide member 9, are formed in side walls 9a of the guide member 9. While a wiper arm receiving member 11 is fitted between the side walls 9a of the guide member 9 through rollers 12, 13 guided along the guide grooves 9c, accordingly, the wiper arm receiving member 11 can be guided to the direction gradually separated from a wiped surface. The receiving member 11 is normally positioned to a wiper arm by a spring 10. Further a sloped surface 11a, slidably contacted with the wiper arm 1, and protruded part 11b, receiving the arm 1, are formed to the receiving member 11.

That is, during the wiping operation, the angle β shown in FIG.
During this period, the wiper arm 1 swings around the swing shaft 4'1, and the wiper blade 2 wipes the 70-ton glass 5. However, when wiping is stopped, the wiper arm 1 and the wiper blade are removed by a wiper arm storage mechanism (not shown). 2 further rotates around the pivot shaft 4 by an angle a from the position A□ shown in FIG. 1, and is stored in the bonnet 6 shown in FIG. In this case, during wiping, the wiper blade 2 constantly applies a considerable pressing force to the 70-ton glass 5 by a spring (not shown) attached to the wiper arm 1.
Even in the retracted state, that is, the state shown in FIG. 2, substantially the same pressing force is applied to the vehicle body 6 side.

In addition, when using the wiper arm 1 from the state shown in Figure 4.
On the other hand, the wiper blade 2 slides down on the inclined guide portion 7a, and as shown in FIG. 3, the wiper blade 2 comes into pressure contact with the vehicle body 6, and the wiper blade 2 again performs the wiping operation of the windshield 5.

However, the following conventional wiper blade protection device 1
7 has the disadvantage that when the wiper arm 1 contacts and slides on the inclined guide portion 71, an unpleasant front tube may occur due to friction, and the wiper arm 1 may be damaged at the contact portion. As mentioned above, the installation position is relatively close to the swing axis 4 of the wiper arm 1 (Fig. 5).
Therefore, when lifting the wiper blade 2 shown in Figure @4 above, a large load is applied between the wiper arm 1 and its swing shaft 4, which tends to cause looseness. The wiper blade 2 has various drawbacks, such as not sliding into contact with the wiper blade and the wiper blade 2 not lifting up.

In addition, other than the wiper blade protection device 7 described above, there are protection devices that are directly attached to the wiper arm 1 or wiper blade 2 side, but all of these have the fatal drawback of obstructing visibility. ing. There is also the following model in which the swing shaft 4 is modified, but this has the drawback of increasing costs.

This invention eliminates all the shortcomings of the conventional wiper blade protection device described above, and also allows the wiper blade 2″f to be separated from the vehicle body 6 more reliably and smoothly when not in use, and to be able to separate the wiper blade 2″f from the vehicle body 6 more reliably and smoothly when in use (also when in use). It is an object of the present invention to provide a wiper blade protection device that can be smoothly lowered onto a vehicle body 6.

Here, the wiper blade protection device 1li8 will be described in detail based on FIGS. 7 to 9. In the figure, reference numeral 9 indicates a wiper blade 2 for guiding a wiper arm receiving member 11, which will be described later.
A guiding member is shown for separating the guided member 9 from the wiping surface.
The side walls 9m, 9a are formed with inclined guide grooves 9c, 9c which are inclined with respect to the base 9b, and the side wall 9d is formed with a seat surface 9c for positioning one end of the spring 10. Friend, an elastic hook-shaped locking portion 9ff is provided on the bottom surface of the guide member 9, and a hole 6a formed in the vehicle body 6 is provided.
It is completely fixed by inserting the locking portion 9f (see FIGS. 8 and 9). In this case, it can also be fixed with bolts and nuts, or with a strong surface adhesive, and by providing a pedestal on the vehicle body 6 side, more stable mounting can be achieved.

The lifting and lowering of the wiper blade 2 toward the vehicle body 6 by the wiper blade protection device 8 described above is achieved by making the wiper arm receiving member 11 slidable along the inclined guide grooves 9e and 9c of the guide member 9 as described above. This is done reliably and smoothly. The spring 10 is interposed between the wiper arm 1 and the wiper arm holder i.
The contact sliding noise with the IS material 11 is alleviated, the friction is also significantly reduced, and the wiper arm 1 is not damaged.

As explained above, according to the wiper blade protection device of the present invention, the structure includes a wiper arm receiving member that engages and slides with the wiper arm, and a core wiper arm receiving member that is disposed near the reciprocating motion stop end of the wiper arm. Since the blade is provided with a guide member that guides the blade in a direction that moves away from the surface and separates the blade from the wiping surface, various excellent effects are obtained as follows.

That is, the unpleasant contact sliding noise and friction with the companion wiper arm 1, which have been problems in the conventional wiper blade protection device 7, can be effectively eliminated by making the wiper arm receiving member slidable along the guide member as described above. relaxation,
Wiper arm 1
Even if the wiper arm 1 is positioned relatively close to the swing axis 4, the load on the wiper arm 1 is effectively alleviated and eliminated, so that the wiper arm 1' does not lose its strength. In addition, since the scissor holder is not directly attached to the wiper arm 1 or wiper blade 2, it does not obstruct visibility, and the structure is simple and inexpensive.
9 The wiper blade 2 is surely and smoothly lifted and separated from the vehicle body 6 to prevent deformation of the wiper blade 2 due to the suppression of the wiper arm 1, cracking of the wiper blade 2 due to this deformation, and furthermore, prevention of the wiper blade 20 from adhering to the vehicle body 6 side.
