Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized, lightweight case by using an input and output combined terminal which utilizes electric energy coupling. CONSTITUTION:In a dielectric block, holes constituting plural resonators are made. At both side end parts of the top surface of the dielectric block, holes 241 for input and output combined terminal insertion are perforated. Then, an input and output combined terminal 25 having an elastic pressure holding mechanism is inserted into each insertion hole 241. While an external conductor is connected to the terminal 25, a resonance-frequency adjusting screw 8 and a coupling-extent adjusting screw rod are turned respectively to make adjustments to a prescribed frequency and a coupling extent, and nuts 81 and 91 for fixation are tightened up. Thus, an input and output plug is not fitted on a flank, so realizing small-sized constitution.

As is clear from the above description, according to the dielectric filter of the present invention, it is easier to use input/output coupling terminals by electrical energy coupling, compared to the conventional method in which external conductors are connected via input/output connectors. The case can be made smaller,
Moreover, since it is lightweight, it is extremely advantageous when applied to various mobile radios and the like.
