Furthermore, since the substrate that forms the main body of the exterior plate is generally made of a fragile material, a reinforcing back sheet is often attached to the back side of the exterior plate.

Exterior panels are usually used by joining multiple sheets together using a method such as a real part, so it is common to have a real part on the side end, but this part is conventionally cut. After that, these sheets were attached to the front and back sides.

However, if the real part is formed and finished using this method, it will take time and effort to cut the real part, and since the front and back surfaces of the real part are on the same plane as the front and back surfaces of the board body, it is difficult to separate both sheets. It has the disadvantage that when pasted, wrinkles and unevenness due to uneven stretching of the sheet tend to occur.

This will be explained below. The method for manufacturing an exterior plate according to the present invention involves forming grooves on a front sheet and a back sheet each having a width greater than or equal to the width of two exterior plates, and opening sides of both grooves formed thereby are opposite to each other. Layer both sheets so that they are facing the same direction, and introduce the substrate material into the gap while keeping the distance between these two sheets constant. Groove shapes of both sheets are formed in the middle part of the front and back sides of the layer of introduced substrate material. Accordingly, by forming similar grooves and curing, an exterior plate material is produced, which is covered with a top sheet on the front side and a back sheet on the back side, and has a thin part formed by both grooves in the middle. The feature is that a cut is made in the longitudinal direction along the groove in the middle of the thin part of the exterior plate material, and both sides of the cut are separated.

Although it is practical to form the grooves by roll processing, in this case as well, it is preferable to gradually form the grooves using a plurality of rolls, taking into consideration the processability of the sheet.

In this way, the top sheet and back sheet with grooves formed in the middle are overlapped with the center lines of the grooves aligned, and while keeping the distance between both sheets constant, the substrate material (material of substrate 3 of the exterior plate) is used in the gap. will be introduced.

1. The substrate material introduced between the two sheets is molded by a forming means such as a forming roll so that the distance between the two sheets becomes constant except for grooves and other necessary parts. That is, the plate-shaped body (exterior plate material) obtained is cured while maintaining a state in which unnecessary unevenness is not generated.

In the process of introducing, molding, and curing the substrate material described above, grooves of the same shape that conform to the grooves of both sheets are formed in the intermediate portions of the front and back surfaces of the layer of the introduced substrate material, As a result, a thin portion is formed in the middle portion of the plate-shaped body.

In the figure, 41 indicates a cut that will be made later. A cut 41 is made in the longitudinal direction along the groove in the middle of the thin part of this exterior plate material, and when both sides are cut, two exterior plates with fruit on the side edges are obtained. It will be done.

As described above, the method for manufacturing an exterior plate according to the present invention involves forming grooves on a front sheet and a back sheet each having a width equal to or larger than that of two exterior plates, and forming both grooves thereby. The two sheets are stacked so that the opening sides of the sheets face oppositely to each other, and the substrate material is introduced into the gap while keeping the distance between the two sheets constant. By curing while forming similar grooves according to the groove shapes of both sheets, we manufacture an exterior board material that has the front side covered with a top sheet, the back side covered with a back sheet, and a thin part formed by both grooves in the middle. Then, a cut is made in the longitudinal direction along the groove in the middle of the thin part of the exterior board material, and both sides are separated, so that the exterior board with the fruit to which the sheet has been successfully attached can be obtained. It has become possible to manufacture efficiently.
