[Detailed explanation of the idea] The present invention relates to a poultice having an adhesive layer on the edge.

Conventionally, there are poultices that have a poultice layer on the surface of a base fabric such as a raised cloth, nonwoven fabric, or other fabric, and an adhesive layer on the opposing edges, so that they can self-hold onto the affected area. During use, the components of the poultice transfer to the adhesive layer, reducing the adhesive strength or anchoring power of the adhesive, resulting in poor retention when applied to the affected area, or peeling off after application. In some cases, the adhesive layer may remain on the affected area.

For this reason, there are some products in which the part of the base fabric where the adhesive layer is to be provided is pre-impregnated with a treatment agent such as natural resin, synthetic resin, or wax, and then an adhesive layer is provided on top of it to prevent the migration of poultice ingredients. The effect is insufficient, and when the adhesive is removed after use, the adhesive layer may remain on the skin, making it unsatisfactory.

In this case, an adhesive layer is provided on one side of a film that is impermeable to poultice ingredients, and the other side is fixed to the edge of the base fabric via a heat-sealable adhesive to form the required adhesive layer. A product that does not transfer the poultice ingredients, does not cause a decrease in adhesive strength and anchoring power due to adhesive deterioration, does not leave adhesive on the affected area, and does not cause unstable adhesion. To explain the present invention with reference to an example below, a poultice layer 2 is placed on a base fabric 1 such as a raised fabric such as flannel, non-woven fabric or other fabric, and adhesive is attached to one of the opposing edges of the poultice layer on one side. An adhesive layer 3 is provided, and this adhesive layer 3 contains the poultice component fixed to the edge of the base fabric using a heat-welding adhesive 4 such as polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, or the like. The adhesive layer 3 is made of the impermeable film 5 as a base material, and an adhesive tape formed by applying a rubber-based, acrylic-based, or other adhesive using a conventional method is attached to the base fabric using a heat-welding adhesive 4. The above-mentioned heat-welding type adhesive may have a film of the adhesive between the base fabric and the film 5, or may be integrated with the base fabric or film by adhesion or the like in advance.

A removable plastic film or other removable protective sheet 6 is adhered to the upper surfaces of the adhesive layer and the poultice layer, each singly or continuously covering both.

When these protective sheets are individually attached, the protective sheet covering the poultice layer can be extended so that at least a portion thereof overlaps the upper surface of the protective sheet covering the adhesive layer.

In Fig. 1, an adhesive layer 3 is formed by thermocompression bonding an adhesive tape based on a polyester film 5 through a polyethylene 4, and a poultice layer 2 is applied between the adhesive layer 2 and the poultice layer. The agent layer is shown in which a continuous protective sheet 6 is attached.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and poultice layer can be formed in contact with each other, or with an appropriate gap between them, if necessary.
