Paper is generally used as the base material for this type of tape fastener, which can be easily torn by hand, is inexpensive, and has excellent tensile strength and heat resistance. However, on the other hand, it is inferior to film base materials in terms of water resistance and interlayer strength. Therefore, impregnated paper, which is made by impregnating paper with a resin to increase the interlayer strength of the paper, has become the mainstream base material for tapes.

Furthermore, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-192909, there is a composite material in which a biaxially stretched polypropylene film is laminated on a fibrous base material made of high-quality paper or nonwoven fabric, and an adhesive is coated on the film side. There is also a tape fastener made of.

In this type of tape fastener, the tape itself is stretched when the diaper is secured to an infant, and if used for a long time, the tape may tear from the tape fold or delamination of the base material may occur. As a result, the diaper slips down, loses its adhesion to the body, and drain fluids leak.

In addition, in the case of a composite base material laminated with a polypropylene film described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-192909, the film base material is hard, so cutting properties of the tape during diaper production are poor, and soft red stains occur. It may even damage Yan's skin. Furthermore, since the adhesive is applied to the film surface, there is a drawback that the adhesive is more easily peeled off at the interface than the film base material and is easier to remove.

The inventor of the present invention has conducted extensive research in order to solve these shortcomings and provide a disposable diaper with a tape fastener that does not tear at the tape fold, is resistant to leakage, and does not damage baby's skin. As a result, the tape base material was created by laminating a soft, tear-resistant nonwoven fabric and stiff paper into an integrated structure with an adhesive layer on the surface of the paper layer, thereby eliminating the disadvantages of film composite base materials. The inventors have discovered that it is possible to increase the interlayer strength, improve the backing property (backing property) and tape cutting property of the adhesive to the base material, and further improve the base material to be soft and stiff, and have arrived at the present invention.

The diaper body consists of an absorbent layer 4, a liquid-permeable top sheet 3 layered on top of the absorbent layer 4, and a liquid-impermeable back sheet 2 that wraps and covers these. Tape fasteners 1 are provided on both sides. The tape fastener 1 consists of a release tape 7, a fastening tape 5, and a target tape 6. The fastening tape 5 has one end fixed to a liquid-impermeable back sheet 2 and the other end adhered to the target tape 6. Furthermore, it is folded at a folding part B so that it can be peeled off on the peeling surface of the release tape 7. The tape fastener of the present invention is characterized by a fastening tape, and the release tape and target tape may not necessarily be used when implementing the present invention. When the fastening tape 5 is used to fix the diaper to the body for wearing, the tensile force applied to the tape fastener 1 is applied to the fold B of the fastening tape 5 and the back sheet 2 of the fastening tape 5. When the diaper is worn for a long time on the fixed part, the tension applied to the folded part B of the fastening tape 5 is large, and a notch gradually enters from the folded part B of the fastening tape 5, and it eventually tears and tears. To prevent such tears, see Figures 3 and 4.
When the tape fastener of the present invention as shown in the figure is used, the resistance force required for initial tearing is large, and the strength from tearing to tearing is also high, so it is difficult to break and is preferable.

Below, FIGS. 3 and 4 will be explained. FIG. 3 is an enlarged sectional view in the thickness direction showing an embodiment of the tape fastener which is a feature of the present invention. The tape fastener of this example consists of a base material consisting of a paper layer 9, a polyethylene film layer 10, and a nonwoven fabric layer 11, and an adhesive layer 8 provided on the surface of the paper layer 9 of this base material, and the polyethylene film layer 10 is heated. This serves as an adhesive to bond and integrate the paper layer 9 and the nonwoven fabric layer 11. In addition, the outer layer of the nonwoven fabric layer 11 of the base material is made of a polymeric material (PE, PP, PET).
etc.) may be mirrored. In this case, since the surface of the nonwoven fabric is made smooth, if the film 12 is peeled off with a release agent 13 (since tapes are generally transported in rolls), it can be unwound smoothly from the roll.

FIG. 4 is an enlarged sectional view showing another embodiment of the tape fastener of the present invention. The tape fastener of this embodiment consists of a base material in which a paper layer 9 and a nonwoven fabric layer 11 are integrated, and an adhesive layer 8 provided on the surface of the paper layer 9 of this base material. A polyethylene film 12 is laminated to the outer layer, and the film 12 is further subjected to a release treatment using a release agent 13. The paper layer 9 and the nonwoven fabric layer 11 are integrated by using a nonwoven fabric containing molten fibers as the nonwoven fabric, laminating this with paper, and heating the paper layer from the side (for example, by pressing with a heat roll). In this case, the molten fibers in the nonwoven fabric layer at the interface between the paper layer 9 and the nonwoven fabric layer 11 are melted and embedded in the fibers of the paper layer, and the paper fibers and the nonwoven fabric fibers are laminated and integrated, making it difficult to separate the two layers.

Since the tape fastener of the present invention has the above-described structure, the fibers are randomly oriented in the three-dimensional direction in the nonwoven fabric layer, and there is little difference in strength between vertical and horizontal directions, and it is strong against bending, tension, folding, etc. In addition, since the fibers in the paper layer are densely packed in two-dimensional directions, by laminating and integrating the nonwoven fabric layer and the paper layer, the fabric becomes even stiffer and stronger.

Conventional impregnated paper is strong in tension but weak in bending and folding, but when the tape fastener of the present invention is used, the tape fastener of the present invention is strong in folding and bending, and is resistant to tearing from the tape crease. The required initial resistance force is much greater than that of conventional products, and the strength from tearing to tearing is also greater, making it possible to obtain a diaper that is free from breakage and leakage and has a good feel when worn.

In addition, when conventional composites of film and nonwoven fabric were used, there was a problem with shrinkage of the film when applying adhesive to the support, but in the present invention, a paper layer and a nonwoven fabric layer are laminated. Since the adhesive is coated on the surface of the paper layer of the integrated base material, it is possible to obtain a tape fastener that is soft to the touch and hard to tear. Furthermore, since the surface of paper is not as smooth as that of film, the adhesive layer is difficult to peel off. Furthermore, since it has higher heat resistance than paper film, there is less deformation of the base material during the adhesive coating process, and adhesives with high melting points can also be used.
