Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the function of multi-purpose freighter by a method wherein a second deck panel is made variable into three states or a horizontal state, an inclined state corresponding to the inclined board of a cantilever ship and a vertically housed state. CONSTITUTION:The second deck panel 3 rising-and fallingly provided at the predetermined height of the inner side wall 2 in the hold 1 of the freighter is made variable into the three states or the horizontally leveled stateIat the location just below an upper deck 4 as illustrated with the solid line in the attached drawing, the inclined state II corresponding to the inclined board of a cantilever ship as illustrated with the two-dot chain line and the vertical state III housed along the inner side wall 2 as illustrated with the single-dot chain line. The operation of the second deck panel 3 can be easily performed by the operation of a wire rope 13. The numeral 6 indicates a guide member fixed to the inner side wall 2 in the hold 1 of the freighter and the numerals 18A and 18B show protrusible stoppers.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention is mainly applicable to the loading of bulk cargo such as grains,
- This invention relates to a second deck device for a multi-purpose cargo ship that enables the loading of membrane materials.

If it is a bulk carrier, it is not possible to divide the hold into upper and lower parts, but when loading general cargo, it would be extremely uneconomical to divide the hold, excluding the area directly below the hatch, into upper and lower parts. In order to add a second deck, it would be sufficient to provide a second deck that is removable, but if the second deck is made removable, it is time-consuming and troublesome to attach and detach it, and it is difficult to securely fix it. Otherwise, there is a risk that the second deck will fall off.

Therefore, as a bulk cargo ship, if a slope plate is formed in the upper part of the hold to match the corner layer of the slope of the conical pile, that is, the rest angle peculiar to the cargo, and bulk cargo is loaded. In addition, it is necessary to make the ship a so-called cantilever ship, in which the cargo/bag is closely attached to the inclined plate so that there is no possibility of the cargo becoming slopped. Therefore, if the ship is a multi-purpose cargo ship suitable for both bulk cargo and general cargo, It is preferable that the second deck is used horizontally at a predetermined height, and when not in use, it is used as an inclined plate in the upper part of the hold of a cantilever ship, and if necessary, it is stored almost upright. It turns out.

Based on the above-mentioned viewpoint, this invention provides a second deck of a multi-purpose cargo ship in which the second deck can be fixed in three states: a horizontal state, an inclined state corresponding to the inclined plate of a cantilever ship, and an upright storage state. This provides a deck device in which a second deck panel is attached to a support member that can be freely moved in the upper F direction along an upright guide member that is attached to the inside wall of the bow, and a panel for the second deck is attached to the support member so that it can be rotated up and down. Stoppers for blocking upward movement are provided at predetermined positions above and below the guide member so as to protrude from each other, and sheaves are provided respectively at the support member and near the free end of the panel, while a required number of stoppers are fixed at predetermined positions in the upper part of the hold. A sheave is provided, and a wire rope, one end of which is fixed to the upper part of the inner wall of the tidying hold, is passed from the 7-p integral with the support member to one of the upper fixed sheaves, passed to the sheave near the free end of the panel, and then passed from the upper part to the sheave near the free end of the panel. It is unique in that it can be hoisted freely towards the upper deck via another fixed sheep.

As is clear from the above description, the device of the present invention can form a second deck by simply operating a wire rope and a stopper, depending on the type of cargo, and can also form a cantilever ship with a panel used for the second deck. It is a labor-saving device that can be remotely operated, as it can form a ceiling structure equivalent to an inclined plate, and if necessary, the second deck panel can be raised up to eliminate objects from entering the hold. It has excellent advantages, such as being extremely useful for improving the functionality of general-purpose cargo ships.
