[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention is a magnetic head used in a device that performs recording and reproduction by bringing the magnetic head into contact with a magnetic disk that rotates at high speed. An oil-less metal containing a liquid is placed adjacent to and fixed on at least the upstream side of the magnetic head, and during recording and reproduction, the liquid oozes from the oil-less metal and the magnetic head is moved onto the recording medium through the liquid. The purpose is to reduce wear between the two by bringing them into contact.

Generally, when recording and reproducing using a magnetic head, the magnetic head is brought into direct contact with a recording medium.

However, due to the seeding conditions, it is difficult to process this disk completely smooth, and therefore the magnetic head cannot contact the magnetic disk in a uniform state. In order to maintain the reproducing state, the force applied to the magnetic head must be brought into contact with the magnetic disk, which causes accelerated wear of the magnetic disk and the magnetic head.

To explain this point with reference to Fig. 1, Fig. 1 is a side view of the main part showing the state of contact between a conventional magnetic head and a magnetic disk, and 1 is a fixed plate on which a magnetic head 2 is attached. , the magnetic head 2 is configured to directly contact the magnetic disk 3 during recording and reproduction.

Therefore, when the magnetic disk 3 rotates at high speed, if one side is harder than the other due to their mutual relationship, the other side will wear out, and vice versa, one side will wear out.

Since the material of the magnetic disk is usually softer than that of the magnetic head, the degree of wear of the disk is large, which poses a major problem in its durability.

Of course, since the magnetic disk rotates at high speed as described above, there is considerable wear when considering the contact force of the magnetic head against the disk, and this wear cannot be ignored.

With this configuration, when the magnetic head 2 is brought into contact with the magnetic disk 3 during recording and reproduction and the magnetic disk 3 is rotated at high speed, the oil contained in the oil-less metal leaches out and forms a thin oil film on the disk. 5 is formed.

However, the magnetic head 2 does not come into direct contact with the disc 3 due to the oil film 5, but always contacts through the oil film, so that wear between the two is significantly reduced.

According to the present invention, the oil-less metal containing liquid is fixed adjacent to the top and downstream sides of the magnetic head, so that the magnetic head slightly deforms and forms a magnetic circle. Even when the disc comes into contact with the disc, the oil from the oil-less metal is smoothly leached onto the disc.

Further, according to the present invention, since the magnetic head and the magnetic disk come into contact with each other via the oil film as described above, there is an advantage that rotation of the disk and feeding of the head are extremely smooth.

Further, according to the present invention, the oil-less metal is fixed adjacent to at least the upstream side of the magnetic head with respect to the rotating direction of the magnetic disk, which is very convenient for downsizing.

Furthermore, the present invention uses a slippery material such as oil-less metal as the liquid-containing material, so as long as there is no contact with the magnetic disk, that is, when not in use, oil will leach out from the metal etc. This is economical and convenient in practical use.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the oil-less metal that comes into contact with the magnetic disk may be arranged and fixed at least on the upstream side of the magnetic head with respect to the rotational direction of the magnetic disk. The oil acts uniformly only on the necessary areas, and since only a small amount of oil is required, there is no possibility of dust or dirt adhering to it.Therefore, it is applicable to magnetic heads for magnetic disks that rotate at high speed, such as the one proposed in this invention. However, it is convenient for use in, for example, equipment that records and reproduces video signals.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the magnetic head is placed next to the oil-less metal, this oil-less metal also serves as a reinforcement for the magnetic head, and therefore stable recording and reproduction can be performed, and the magnetic circle is Since it does not require lubricant on the entire surface of the plate due to oil-less metal, it is excellent in terms of protection and longevity of the magnetic disk, and is extremely practical.

In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment of the present invention, there is an example in which oil-less metal as a liquid-containing material is fixed adjacent to the upper and downstream sides of the magnetic head in the rotational direction of the magnetic disk. Although explained in the above, the present invention is not limited to this, and it is of course possible to arrange and fix this only to the upstream side or the downstream side, for example.
