Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of a toner and to eliminate the contamination in a recorder by disposing conductive members in proximity to a carrier for electrostatic images and applying a prescribed voltage upon said members. CONSTITUTION:Conductive members 15, 16 in proximity to a recording medium 1 are mounted via an insulator S to a supply port 13 for a developer D of a tank 12. A prescribed voltage is applied to the members 15, 16 by an electric power source E to prevent the scattering of the toner D through the supply port 13 of the tank by the electric field curtain formed by said application. Thus the contamination in the recorder is prevented.

Description
