Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は滑走性能を大にしたスキー用表面材に関する
ものである。
従来、スキー用表面材として種々の材質が使用されてき
たが、未だ完全なものはなく、スキーヤ−は表面材の表
面にワックス、パラフィン類を塗布し、スキー表面の摩
擦係数を下げたスキーを使用している。
発明者は、ワックス、パラフィン類の摩擦係数が小さい
事実からこれをプラスチックスに混練成型し、従来のプ
ラスチックスよりも摩擦係数の小さいプラスチックスの
製造を試みたが、ワックス。
パラフィン類がプラスチックスに適当に分散せず失敗に
終った。
そこで、この発明は、ワックス、パラフィンまたはこれ
らの混合物のサイクロデキストリン類包接化合物をプラ
スチックスに混練し、従来不可能であったワックス、パ
ラフィン類をプラスチックスに均一に分散することを可
能とし、これをもってスキー用表面材を提供しようとい
うものである。
ここで使用するサイクロデキストリン類は、従来から知
られているα−サイクロデキストリン。
βサイクロデキストリン、γ−サイクロデキストリンの
いずれであってもよく、また、これらの混合物、ないし
はこれらのサイクロデキストリン類を含有する澱粉分解
物（水あめ）であってもよい。
そして、ワックス、パラフィン類とサイクロデキストリ
ン類との包接化合物を生成させるには、ワックス、パラ
フィン類を易簿性のある溶媒に溶解後、約２〜５倍の水
を添加し、更にサイクロデキストリン類を加え６０℃〜
９０℃でかくはんしながら１〜２０時間反応させる。こ
のように生成したワックス、パラフィン類とサイクロデ
キヌトリン類との包接化合物は濃縮後微粉末化すると使
用し易い。
上記包接化合物を混練するプラスチックスとしてはポリ
エチレン樹脂が最も普通であるが、他にアクリル樹脂、
ポリスチレン樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂、セルロース系
樹脂、フェノール樹脂、尿素樹脂、メラミン樹脂、ポリ
エヌーテル樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、ＡＢＳ樹脂等どのよ
うなプラスチックスであってもよい。
以上のように、本発明はワックス、パラフィン類の高潤
滑性をプラスチックスに付与することに成功したもので
あるから、格段に摩擦係数が小さくなり、従来のごとく
、スキーの表面材の表面にワックス、パラフィン類を塗
布する必要がなくきわめて実用的効果が大きいものであ
る。

  1. ワックス、パラフィンまたはこれらの混合物のサイクロ
    デキストリン類包接化合物をプラスチックスに混練した
    ことを特徴とするスキー用表面材。
